Move current episode here
Similar to "scroll to current episode" but instead of scrolling to the current episode, moves the current episode before the triggering position in the playlist. If the playlist is abCdef with C the currently playing episode, clicking on a > "Move curent episode here" would modify the playlist into Cabdef.

Stop after # podcasts
I love the "stop after finishing the currently playing episode". As an enhancement, can we have a "stop after the next # episodes"? That way, I can look at my list, decide I want to hear the next 3 (for instance) and then it will auto stop after playing those 3.
Not sure what would happen if new episodes were downloaded while those 3 were playing and a new episode just happened to get inserted. Maybe ignore the new ones until the next play session?1 vote -
Add automatic download starting from last episode played
I have many podcasts where I'm working through the backlog in order, but there are some episodes I've chosen to skip. If I use automatic download in archive mode, it downloads those skipped episodes instead of the next episode after the one I just listened to. I'd love an option where automatic download downloads the next episode after the most recently listened to episode, instead of just the oldest unread. Another way to do this could be to be able to mark episodes as uninterested (which I saw in another suggestion) and then skip those when downloading, but that would…

Enlarge widget buttons (especially on 4x1)
Buttons are too small on the smallest widget (4x1) and it's very easy to miss them. It would be great if the right part could be split differently, like one third for the title and name of the episode and two thirds for the control buttons. Or maybe even a resize option that would transform the 4x1 in a 4x2, but keeping the icon on the left (and not at the top like the 4x2) but enlarging buttons a lot.
Is it something that could be done?

Move play button in episode list
If fast scrolling is on and you try to hit the play button in the episode list it often will jump to a different location in the list. If the play button was a little further to the left then it might make this a little better

Android Auto - categories showing podcasts not episodes
AS android auto is enabled it will allow users to filter quickly through to the podcast and then revealing the episodes. This will be a safer way for users to find what they are looking for.

Completely unrealistic suggestion.
I have several podcasts that I get premium feeds for. That are all out of order and filled with other streams I'm not ready for. It would be amazing (and slightly impossible) if I could use the public feed to control it's corresponding premium episodes. Like linking the feeds and doing wildcard episode searches automatically.

add Pay from Top to Order By
Add a "Play from Top" checkbox to the "Order by ..." dialog box so that it's easier to toggle "Play from Top" without having to go into the Playlist settings and toggling it. I do this several times per day and having a quick-access way of turning it on/off would be very helpful.

Add bookmark sort by most recent bookmark
I review bookmarks weekly but unfortunately there is no way to sort the bookmarks by when they were added. Sometimes podcasts sit in my play list for a long time before I get to them. If I bookmark something, that bookmark is way down the list, since the sort options are by download date, publication date, etc. Adding a sort by recent bookmark date would make this much easier.

Filter Episodes by Year Published
I would love it there were an option to filter a show by the year an episode was published. For example, say I just wanted to just see Planet Money episodes published in 2020.

Jump to end or beginning when scrolling fast in lists
Scrolling through long lists is tedious. Why not enlarge Scrollindicator to a button when scrolling fast that enables jumping to end or beginning of a list. Know this feature from other apps like Opera browser.

Add "popularity" data
I miss that old feature on iTunes where you could see the popularity of each episode. The userbase of PA is probably big enough to incorporate it now.
It's useful data for when you discover a podcast that interviews a different guest each episode but you don't know the names and there's 100+ episodes to sift through. I'd love to be able to either sort by popularity, or even be able to see that little visual representation next to the episode. It'd help pick the best episodes first.

Larger "time", "time left" in car mode.
Car mode has larger buttons for easier control, but to see how much time is left, you still have to focus on the screen instead of just glancing at it. The numbers are very, very small and could easily be enlarged a lot.

Show playback statistics for more than just this year and last year
I can see how much time I spent listening to each podcast for this year and last year. But it would also be nice to see this for previous years and also by month.

Display not only date, but also time of podcast publication when displaying or playing podcast
This is particularly relevant for recent podcasts, to know if it was published 5 minutes ago or 23 hours ago, as it only shows the date.
