    Don't force addition of "podcast" directory to custom storage location or change name to "podcasts" (plural). I use separate apps to manage and listen to podcasts. The app I use for listening (rocket player) looks for directories called "podcasts" (plural) and categorizes them as such. Any other media gets put in with music. It will not recognize anything in a "podcast" (singular) folder as a podcast, even if it is a subdirectory of "podcasts". It would be nice if there would be an option to customize the name of or remove the auto adding of "podcast" to the end of…

  10. Create a custom config for podcast related to NEWS, so they are inserted just after the podcast that is currently playing.

    Custom config that insert a podcast after the current podcast that is being playing.
    Here follows an example:

    1 - I'm having "Podcast A" on the top of my playlist (current playing)
    2 - A custom configuration is set on "Podcast feed Z" to mark it as "news" or "priority on playlist";
    3 - When this "Podcast feed Z" is updated, it'd find out that there is a new epiosode, let's call "Podcast B";
    4 - The "Podcast B" it will be inserted on the playlist automatically just after the "Podcast A"

    I never really use the numbers in orange on the main podcast screen, and it would be nice if there were a display option to not show them

  12. reading in progress list - show the position, first elected,

    Thanks Xavier for this very good app, I use it every day when I commute. I will use your paypal donate page instead of the donatel app, because I can bear the google play store, and I don't want someone (as my children) can use my phone to buy anything after that.

    My suggestions are around the reading in progress section :

    1) Show the position in the list so we don't have to select it in the player to know where is it.

    2) On your way, I would be happy to have an option to select the minimal…

  16. Slide up and down gestures for currently playing podcast

    Add a slide up gesture for the currently playing podcast instead of just a tap to open like there is now. A matching slide down gesture would be great too. The slide down should take you back to whatever screen you were using previously to sliding up.

  18. allow update settings to be different for each subscription

    id like to set the update frequency and auto-download settings differently for each individual podcast
    some i listen to every day, some (like news) several times a day, some only here and there. id like to not have to 'mark read' all the time for podcasts i dont frequently listen to. it leads me to unsubscribe to some just to not have to sort it out all the time

  20. Fix: Video playback stops in background on Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini on Android 4.4.2

    I can't play video podcasts in background. When I leave the video window, podcast addict pauses playback. I tried uncheck Settings -> Video Player but it doesn't help. When I turn off the display, I can hear the podcast (Background Playback works) but when I open another app, open another window in Podcast Addict (settings) or press home button, playback stops.

    The app behaves little bit different depending if the checkbox is checked. If it is checked and I reenter video player, I have to press play to continue playback. If the checkbox isn't checked, playback automatically continues when I…
