Make the widget icon edges (around the round icon) transparent
Currently, the corners are opaque, making for a very ugly widget if using a transparent background

Latest version causes Samsung S4 to crash and reboot after a few minutes of listening
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. I listen through a bluetooth headset. And I stream the podcast.
After a while the audio starts to cut in and out/stutter and then the phone reboots.

Apps can crash but they cannot crash the device or force it to reboot. Only a Rom bug can do that. Which device/android version/app version are you using? -
'The Steve Austin Show Unleashed' does not appear when u search on this app, only the clean version 'Steve Austin Show'-how come?
There are 2 versions of the 'Steve Austin Show' podcast - the clean version: 'The Steve Austin Show' and the uncensored version: 'The Steve Austin Show Unleashed', however when i search for the unleashed verssion, it does not appear in the results at all, only the clean version? how come? is this a bug or is there anything i can do to fix it? Unleashed appears in all other podcast apps i've tried.

Multiple Devices Sync?
Having subscriptions, listen count, and maybe even track position Sync across devices. Phones and tablets. That would rock!

It’s dedicated to new feature suggestion. Use the Contact support button insteadApps don’t handle the install/update/uninstall process. Those are handle by the Play Store app.
To uninstall the app you just have to open the Play Store and press the uninstall button.
If it fails then it’s a bug within the Play Store app.
Try again after rebooting your device, it might fix a temporary glitch -
randomise a playlist
Of all the options on a playlist order, random is not an option...

Bonjour les commandes du widget ne fonctionnent plus.

Pour remonter un problème il faut appuyer sur le bouton Contact Support du site.Concerantn ton problème, tu as vraisemblablement désactivé les controles externes donc le widget ne peut plus fonctionner. Il faut les restaurer dans Paramètres/Player

Samsung s5 fixes
I cannot delete old episodes (or any episodes) on my Samsung phone. I check them and click on the tag but it always says "no episodes deleted". I have also changed my settings to delete old episodes and read episodes but it still does not work.

If you want to make old episode articles ‘disappear’ you have to mark them as read and then hide read content using the eye toolbar icon -

The app doesn’t handle the sound output. Only your Rom and the receiver do. If this issue is only when you play over BT then this might be one of the oldest android bug. Try searching on Google for Bluetooth android stutter and you will find thousands of pages on this random bug.

Allow a default playback speed per podcast
Pretty self-explanatory - particularly helpful for virtual podcasts (like audiobooks), but useful in even the general case

Bug: "Failed to download [podcast]"
"Exception while connecting to the server: socket closed..." message appears any time I try to download ANY podcast, on Wi-Fi or mobile data. Any ideas?

The error message says that the remote server is rejecting the connection. Please try to paste the episode url within you device web browser to see if that works. I’m guessing it will fail as well.
To do so, long press on the episode, select copy to clipboard and paste the url in the webbrowser address bar.Also if you’re on kitkat and try downloading on your sd card make sure to use the app folder. As explained in the app and the FAQ, since kitkat app are only authorized to write data in their own folder.

Adjust variable speed playback on the fly
I have a video player that let's me adjust playback speed on the fly while the video is playing, which is much nicer than the current "pop-up, adjust, ok, listen, repeat" cycle that PA requires. Plus, sometimes i like to adjust the speed mid-cast depending on complexity of topic, varying recording quality, ambient noise, etc.
3 votesYou can already do that. When you change the speed in the popup it applies automatically. Then you can confirm or cancel.

Bug: duplicated podcasts
Hello. Bug: some podcasts are being duplicated... just some of them, not every podcast. I love the APP, it is fantastic!

The app is just a tools which displays RSS feed content. If the podcast owner makes a mistake updating is feed like modifying some immutable episode tag, then those past episode will be detected as new again. Feel free to send me the podcast RSS feed so I can check exactly what the feed issue is.

Notification bar problem
The new update has a notification bar problem. When attempting to open app through selection of notification bar, nothing happens. I can only play and pause at the notification bar.

Add a filter for podcast duration
I follow a podcast for which several episodes are posted everyday:
- the total emission (1h30)
- every recurrent sequence (5 to 10 minutes sequences)
It would be really great to be able to filter episodes to display only the emission (only episodes with a duration >1h).
Then I could use the automatisation to download only the full emission.Thanks in advance!
1 voteThat won’t be possible because the only way to know the episode duration for sure is to start playing it. What you can do is filter the episode on it’s name. You can ask for mandatory keywords as well as reject episode containing forbidden keywords. That might be the only solution to your problem

check mark for podcast that is already subscribed.
In the subscribe to new podcast area/tab/thingamabob, have a little check mark for already subscribed podcasts.
This will make it easier to identify podcasts that are already subscribed and when subscribing to more than one (like if you are setting your device back up from a reload) it will be easier to identify if you have already subscribed to a certain podcast.
4 votesAlready subscribed podcast are selected in blue and the row is disabled so there’s already in way to miss them.
But it will only work if you subscribed to the exact same RSS feed url -

Sometimes podcasts I've listened to are not marked as played.

This issue means that either you didn’t listen to the podcast until the end or this setting isn’t set for this specific podcast -
Add play for next X hours
I put on my podcast to sleep and would like to have it turn itself off.

You should add the option to save on the internal memory as opposed to the sd card.
3 votesThere’s no option to store on the SD card. There’s an option to change the storage location. You can select any folder you want on the internal memory or the SD card. By default the app stores on the internal memory
