  1. Starting car the bluetooth seems to tell phone to start Podcast Addict and start playing a podcast. Let me start the podcast please

    This has nothing to do with the app. The app just listen to external commands by default so it means that something on your device is sending a play command when you connect to the Bluetooth. For example on a moto device disable moto assist to avoid this

  2. provide an export facility to export all the comments of all the podcasts to a text file

    provide an export facility to export all the comments of all the podcasts to a text file so that one will have a seperate record of what a specific podcast was all about for later search, lookup or reference. It seems like the comments are lost if one copies the mp3 files to another place (when you run out of memory)

  3. Potential Bug: Videos not shown

    In all video podcasts I only her the sound, but no video is showing. LG G2 with Android 4.2.2

  4. why no pause in silent mode?

    The program doesn't set pause during incoming call if phone is in silent mode. Everything is good if sound is on and phone rings. Could you fix this?

    The app only react to some messages send by other apps. If those apps don’t send a message asking for the audio focus then there’s nothing other apps can do… Please don’t use this section to report bug. Please use the contact support button

  5. when answering a phone call app crashs and playing stops.

    When answering phone call, app will pause the player and when phone call ends, player will resume

  6. changing to landscape mode on the playlist

    Changing to landscape mode on the playlist when playing pauses music. Seems to be a bug. This occurs when using Bluetooth headphones, and I have an app called Ultimate rotation which forces rotation on some apps

  8. ancient (prior 2000) episodes show wrong year / date

    I subscribed to a podcast with rather old episodes. The ones that are from the past century show wrong year.
    A episode from 1999 is shown as if it were from 3999.

    What does the message says exactly. If it says there’s a storage issue it might be that you forget to change the storage folder and that the app downliads in the device internal memory rather than on the SD card. Please give me more information like device internal free memory, SD card memory storage folder location…

    Please use the contact support buttonto report issues. This current section is to ask for new features.
    There haven’t been any app modification that can explain this behavior. Did you get an android update recently ? Did you try rebooting your device ? Which device are you using? Which android version ?

    The lock screen widget is a default android component. I cannot change it’s look and add features. Starting with android 4.4 Google added a progress bar that can be displayed if you long press on a button. If you’re on android 4.4 you can try it (feature already implemented in the app)

  15. add the feature to provide a username and password for protected content

    I still need a second podcastclient for the Podcasts of my newspaper which are password protected. It would be great to add a possibility to download also protected content! Thanks for the otherwise great podcastclient!

  17. Episodes

    Hi,
    How can I get more than just12 episodes at refresh of feed? My case are feritales that my kids are listening every evening. I like to choose from more than just 12. I didn't find that in settings.

    There’s no limitation in the app. But some podcast feed owner limit the number of episodes in their feeds. Some feeds can have more than a 1000 of episodes and dome are limited to just a few. There’s nothing I can do about that.

  18. J'avais des podcasts téléchargs sur la mémoire téjléphone puis j'ai eu le malheure d'ajouter une sdacrd. Après impossible pour l'appli de re

    J'avais des podcasts téléchargés sur la "mémoire téjéphone" puis j'ai eu le malheur d'ajouter une sdcard. Après impossible pour l'appli de retrouver ses petits. En désespoir de cause, j'ai tout copié par un explorateur windows de la mémoire du tél sur la mémoire de la sdcard, podcast après podcast, mais rien à faire. Des tas de podcasts téléchargés, donc présent sur la sdcard n'étaient plus reconnus comme téléchargés. J'imagine qu'il y a en plus du mp3, une référence quelque part.
    Suggestion : re référencer à minima tous les podcasts (ceux téléchargés) en fonction des disques présents (mémoire tél + sdcard…

    Merci de bien vouloir remonter les problèmes dans la section dédiée (Bouton Contact support sur ce site). La section actuelle est dédiée aux demandes de nouvelles fonctionnalités.

    Il est impossible de lier des fichiers copiés manuellement à des épisodes de podcasts dans l’app.

    Par contre l’ajout d’une carte SD ne change rien à l’utilisation du téléphone et/ou de la mémoire par l’app.
    Tu as certainement modifié le répertoire de stockage des podcasts dans Paramètres/Téléchargement/Répertoire de stockage suite à l’ajout de la carte SD.
    Comme indiqué dans l’écran qui c’est alors affiché, l’app ne gère pas la copie de la mémoire interne vers la SD (ou inversement) à cause du temps trop important que prends cette copie.
    Il est donc nécessaire de retélécharger les podcasts.
    Une autre solution consiste à faire une sauvegarde puis une restauration après avoir modifié le répertoire de stockage

    I don't understand why that black bar is always there now even though it doesn't show anything, maybe should think of moving the controls to that bar.

  20. Give option to show start view such as Playlist on start up of Podcast Addict

    On starting Podcast Addict, have an option for user to choose the starting view on start up of the app. For example I would like Playlist to be the first view on start up.
