Package and release Podcast Addict for BlackBerry 10
I haven't yet found a podcast app in BlackBerry World that I'm happy with. I just side-loaded Podcast Addict and so far it's working quite well for me.
1 voteThere are a lot of limitation that makes it impossible to port without code modification.
Because of that I won’t port it to BB10 -

Off late in the past week I've been having a problem downloading a selected episode.

And after selecting one or many episodes to download the download just doesn't happen.1 votePlease open a ticket using this website’s Contact support button to report an issue. Please send me podcast URL and the name if the episodes that failed to download. What does the error message say?
Thx -
Enque all menu item
Add an enque all menu item to podcast screens rather than having to use action mode and select each podcast.

filter podcast by name for automatic download
I'd like to download some files from a podcast source, but not all the podcasts from that source. This would require the following features:
* filter podcasts by a search expression
* create multiple recurring download queue entries
* set a frequency of recurrence (usually 24hr)
* set a frequency to test for new files (say every 10 minutes)
* have a rule to not keep testing for a new file for a given search expression once it is found in any 24 hour period.16 votesIt looks like you can now do this by using the podcast filtering settings. You will be able to filter by type (audio, video, text) and by keywords (included and/or excluded)
Please let me know if this doesn’t solve your issue.

I don’t understand what you mean. The refresh button has always been available in the podcasts screen. Moreover you can refresh the feeds from every screen using the refresh button in the sliding menu

Bring back the settings option. I used to be able to change the main settings...when to download, how long to keep.
The only settings option I can find is when I have a podcast open and it has very limited options.
1 voteYou can still access the app settings. Please read the change log that is displayed every time the app is updated especially the sections in red ;)
Just slide your finger from the left side of the screen to the right side or press the app icon in the toolbar to open the new sliding menu -

Please use the Contact Support button to open a ticket in case of an issue. This current section is to suggest new features.
As I mentionned on the Play store, thre have been no modification that can impact the battery. The app only uses wakelock when downloading or playing. Every wakelock is released once used. -
fix feed burner cover art. Search for pbs newshour for examples. or try this link http://feeds.pbs.org/pbs/newshour/headlines-audio
Other podcathers finds art work in feedburber RSS. Podcast addict doesn't.

ThanksFYI I tried your link and the image isn’t displayed on my web browser. The link is broken so it’s normal that it failed to be displayed in the app. In other app they may have cached an old version of the image

Fix an issue with the playback slider & forward button
When I play a podcast and unplug headphones, move the slider or use the forward and reverse buttons the podcast goes back to zero/the beginning. This makes the app completely unusable for me. My device is a Motorola DROID X2 running Android 2.3.5 and I just installed and ran your most recent update (Nov. 18, 2013).
1 voteIn case of an issue, please open a ticket using the Contact Support button on this website. Please specify the version of the app rather than the day of the update. Version number is displayed at the bottom of the settings page

Make it easier to view my subscribed podcasts, and see past episodes.
Title is description. It was easier in the previous setup.
1 voteWhat do you mean?
Subscribed podcasts are displayed in the main screen of the app and post episodes are still available like before. Nothing has changed except that there’s a sliding menu to navigate through the app -
Bring back the settings
Since the update I can't find the app's settings. I want to change the notification settings for the auto downloads, but it's impossible now.
1 voteAs explained in red, in the changelog that opes automatically after every update, the navigation has changed. Press on the app icon in the actionbar or swipe from the left side of the screen to the right side to open the navigation menu

add feature to change how we want the time counter to behave
When playing an episode, there are two time counters: the one on the left which tells you how much the episodes has advanced (from 0:00) and the one on the right which tells how long each episode lasts.
However, you can´t tell how much is left because the second clock doesn´t change. It would be great if the second clock could move backwards as the episode progresses (down to 0:00)
I don´t want to be substracting times to figure out how much is left.12 votesYou can already do this by pressing on the duration counter in the player screen. It will then toggle to display the remaining time

Widget progress bar
In the new widget 4x1, the progress bar is strangely large...
Moreover, the icon in this widget is not correctly displayed.1 votePlease open a ticket using the Contact Support button of this website.
Please send me information about your device, android version and app version as well as a screenshot of the issue.
I’m not aware of any progressbar or thumbnail display issue -
Small screen widget
The Omate TrueSmart has a 240*240 screen. Can you please make a widget that will fit? That also goes for the app itself, of course.
1 voteThe widget is only 4×1. A smaller widget will be useless. The app itself will be displayed on any resolution but it will require more scrolling to reach every part if it

Playlist
Allow disabling automatically enquing each podcast you play. De-enquing it while playing shuts down player-a bug
1 voteThis is not a bug. Podcast that are played are added in the playlist. Removing them will stop the playback. Why do you want to listen to a podcast and not having it in the playlist?

You can already store downloaded episodes on the SD card. You need to select a storage folder on your SD card in Settings/Download/Storage folder
