Add "show episodes list" to Playlist long press menu
I find the "show episodes list" function useful in other lists and for me it would be really handy in the Playlist. Finding the right podcast to get to an episode can be a bit of a chore.

Remove the "X" from the lock screen widget. When I try to hit the fast forward button I acc close the app. Just have the swipe to close

Add tab to Download Manager to separate PA downloaded from others added
I've added many mp3 files that were not downloaded by PA to my subscriptions categorized as Virtual Podcasts. When I look at the Downloaded Episodes they are commingled with ones PA downloaded. I'd like to be able to manage the PA downloads and ignore the others. I propose adding a tab to separated downloaded from externally added.

Flattr improvement
It would be great if u could say: flattr every .... minute when playing or flattr podcast addict every .... day(s).
Cause the new flattr system without klicking is producing much more klicks and if u flattr only once per playback (podcast) or month (Xavier) the klick value is quite smal.

Keep X hours/minutes of unplayed episodes per podcast
For podcasts with long episodes (50-60 minutes), I only need to keep a few episodes on my phone, but for podcasts with shorter episodes (10-20 minutes) I would like more espisodes, so:
Be able to set an amount of time for each podcast (universal or different amount for different podcasts)
Then PA keeps either keeps the most recent X hours and deletes older ones (if user always wants, say, the latest news) OR PA waits to download new episodes until the total downloaded time drops below limit.

Display Mode: Episodes
Story / Use Case: User has a category of podcasts. User changes that category's view mode to (proposed) "Episodes", sorts by publication date, and 'closes the eye' to not show podcasts user has already listened to. Displayed is a combined list of every unlistened episode of every podcast in that category that the user has subscribed to. User can now listen to podcast episodes for a given set of podcasts, in the given order, and this display mode is maintained for this category, with new episodes of any subscribed podcasts within that category appearing at the top of the list.

As well as displaying number of episodes, displays total minutes/hours of listening time
Ideally you'd be able to see this figure for each individual podcast as well as the total figure for all podcasts

Don't delete podcasts on holding 'next' button.
Problem with this is that in the current interface, it is much too easy to accidentally trigger. In full-screen the 'next' button is massive, and I had multiple times that I (apparently) still had the phone unlocked, but grabbed the touchscreen and deleted the podcast.

Allow exiting after variable number of episodes
Currently on the playlist there is an option to exit and stop playing after a certain amount of time, which is nice. You can also select to have the app stop after the current episode finishes (which ever happens first, time or the episode) which is great.
I'd be interested in an option that allows the user to have the app stop after a certain number of episodes, as opposed to measuring in minutes.
I often manage my listening in terms of episodes as opposed to an amount of time.
I imagine this could be implemented with a slider similar…

Hide "No Wi-Fi connection" notification
When the app is setup to update through all networks but to only Download via WiFi, it will display said notification all the time (also with an animated download arrow that suggests a running download). The only way to switch it off is to disable download notifications - but then I am not notified of a podcast is actually downloaded.
Also, the notification cannot be dismissed.
Why not do present a notification such as "x new episodes will be downloaded when on wifi next time", that can be dismissed. Of cause, this notification would be shown again if there are…

Create automatic playlist based on duration
The app creates an automatic playlist based on a duration of choice. F.a. if your daily trip to work takes 30 minutes, it creates an automatic playlist that comes as close as possible to the duration.

Ajouter des icônes dans les listes en plus du texte
L'application est très riche et tant mieux. Dans l'utilisation des listes, j'aimerai bien avoir en plus du texte un icônes à gauche qui représente l'action pour l'identifier plus rapidement (du moins sur les actions les plus courantes).
Ex : quand je reste appuyé un moment sur un épisode et que la liste contextuelle apparaît, j'aimerai avoir un icone croix rouge pour facilement repérer l'action supprimer.

Add a 'skipped' or 'archived state for episodes, for those that you have marked 'played' but haven't listened to yet.
I often find I want to keep track of past episodes I have and haven't listened to, but I don't want to see them on the list of new, unplayed episodes.
A third, 'skipped', 'archived', or perhaps 'dismissed' state would make this possible. If you see a new episode that your want to come back to later, but do not want to forget about, you can just dismiss it instead of making it played.

Auto fill a period with play time.
Taking into account sorting preferences, fill out a time span, from play start or unpause until a set end time with episodes, skipping any that don't fit for later.

Sort playlist by ratio of cumulitive time listened vs total in subscription.
Roughly even out the ratio on each subscription so the time to catch up on all is about the same without hearing too many in a row from one.

Playlist Sort criterion: (Timepoint) "Added to Playlist" (with NO download)
For quickly adding an ordered list of podcasts to the playlist without need to download them first. I am missing this feature when I look up the podcasts of the day of my favorite radio station like interviews or other statements, where I just want to create a short playlist of the interesting items and hear them at breakfast. So its bothering to download that stuff, because I definitely do not need it later.
