Playlist Sort criterion: (Timepoint) "Added to Playlist" (with NO download)
For quickly adding an ordered list of podcasts to the playlist without need to download them first. I am missing this feature when I look up the podcasts of the day of my favorite radio station like interviews or other statements, where I just want to create a short playlist of the interesting items and hear them at breakfast. So its bothering to download that stuff, because I definitely do not need it later.

Automatically enqueue next episode when current one finishes
Let's say I have playlist comprised of single episodes from Podcast A, B and C. I would like Podcast addict to enqueue next episode from podcast A (taking into account sorting selected) when I finish current episode. So new playlist looks like: B, C, A. And so on.
Currently I try to use "Automatic Playlist" function and workaround that with "Downloaded episodes only" combined with keeping only 1 episode on SD card. Allow me to decide what to display in the icon bubble
I would like to be able to choose what the number on the icon bubble shows
- Total downloaded podcast
- Podcasts in play queue
- Podcasts that still have to be played (different from 2)

More duration options for episodes staying in the Recycle Bin.
Right now there is a large gap between 1 month and 1 year. It would be helpful to have at least one option in between these. Maybe 6 months.

Option for Audiobooks to ignore read status for temp playlist
My use case:
Add audio book as folder of series of sequentially named mp3's. Listen to audio as I fall asleep. App settings>playlist>continous playback is ticked. skip played episodes is ticked (otherwise it will go back to ep 1)
When I have found my place, I then need to press and hold each episode that appears as read beyond that one to set to unplayed and reset progress for any that aren't at start, it takes time and is un-necessary on any normal audiobook app which would just play forward from there. Move delete episode a few rows down.
After I download a podcast and click the ellipses to bring up a menu, the add epsidoe and delete episode are next to each other. I have accidently deleted a not listed to episode a couple of times and re downloaded it. Also I have fat thumbs and the curve on my screen makes that menu a little tricky to navigate but i think spacing the option away from each other could help many others.

Separate download-stream-update permissions in Wi-Fi Filter
I would like to be able to disable streaming on my home WiFi, but have the ability to download and update. All WiFi is not equal. My WiFi router is LTE-based, thus mobile data costs still apply, but it is treated like a fixed-line. I want to be able to download-update on this connection, but not stream. The WiFi-filter permission gives a blanket permission for download-stream-update While you can force download while streaming, it does not prevent the playlist from auto-streaming undownloaded episodes when connecting to WiFi.

Playlist as a subset of unlistened
Currently, Being unlistened and Being on playlist are 2 independent sets. I can independently flip both flags. But combination Being on playlist and Being listened does not make IMHO much sense.
I suggest On Playlist episodes should be a subset of Unlistened episodes.
Whatever episode added to the Playlist, would be automatically marked as Unlistened.
Whatever episode marked as Listened, would be automatically removed from Playlist.

Generally easier and more functional Tasker/Locale/Llama integration
AutoVoice, developed by the developer of Tasker, now, integrates with Google Home, and AutoWear effectively does the same thing with a mic on your wrist. All around it's a powerful set of packages. I don't mind typing in intents, but I keep seeing people struggle with them in various forums. Plugins don't seem as hard to code as the support seems to be for helping folk get all the parameters and arguments in order and spelled correctly.
Specifically what I'd like to do, eventually, is be able to trigger specific casts with all that Tasker (and AutoRemote, AutoVoice/Wear, AutoShare -…

Simultaneous sorting on playlists
I am not sure whether this is the same as an idea already posted (if so, sorry). I would love to be able to have an option where my playlist sorts podcasts up to a certain date in a way (e.g., up to a week, publication date, new>old) and after that date in another way (e.g., after a week, publication date, old>new).
This will allow for me to simultaneously follow the new publications from a given podcast while using archive mode to listen to the old episodes of the same podcast in order. Most importantly, it will also allow me…1 vote -
Ability to toggle sleep timer in Android Auto
When using Android Auto, if the sleep timer is not already manually turned off from the app (on the phone) there is no way to turn it off when using Podcast Addict though Android Auto.

How I would like my podcast app to work
There are too many options and it isn't clear how they work. What I want doesn't seem unreasonable. I have other wishes but basically these are the most important features.
I want to be able to specify how many episodes I want available. I want to specify whether to go from older to newer or newer to older. I want episodes deleted after I have listened AND I want the next episode to queue up. I DON'T WANT TO SEE OLDER, LISTENED TO EPISODES TO SHOW AT ALL. Show new episodes rather than unred
One can select an option to show unread podcasts in an orange triangle in the podcasts view. In my case this results in a "+" sign for most podcasts, as some have many old casts that I haven't listened to or because there are far too many. I would rather be interested in "new" casts for each podcast, that is what has been downloqded sice the last update (or def8ned by days ) mi us the already listened to casts.
