  1. Pause after X minutes on headset

    An option to automatically pause the lecture when using a headset, for preserving the ears.

    It would need to have a definable amount of time, and maybe select the concerned devices (I don't know if the app can distinguish a speaker from a headset)

    Also, it would be great that a message is displayed on the screen (so the user understands it wasn't a bug that caused the stopping)

  3. Add Playlist Counter on Widget

    I would like to have a number on the widget to let me know how many episodes I have left in my playlist. BeyondPod has this feature.

  4. Expand options for auto download of a specified number of podcasts from the playlist

    My playlist can easily reach into the hundreds of long podcasts (lots of desk work), I would like to be able to set auto download for the playlist so that the next 5 episodes are downloaded, when one podcast finishes and is deleted the next episode would be downloaded, making it so there's always downloaded episodes while saving storage space

  5. Ability to play in alternating order

    I want to play one episode of each podcast at a time.
    Sorting by reversed Auto priority is an approximation of this, but if I add a new podcast, I hear that one far too much until I've heard it as much as the others.
    I just want one of each.

    Westwood One is a newer network growing in US. A lot of former Podcast one podcasts moving there.

  9. Option to have the playlist on the lock screen rather than just a widget

    I have been using Beyondpod for years and that gives you the playlist/player on the lock screen when a podcast is playing. I can't see this as an option, just a widget

  10. Add a global setting to limit automatic downloading of large files

    If you subscribe to a lot of podcasts, using the filters under custom settings for each podcast can become very onerous. This proposed setting would apply to all podcasts and be overridden by per-podcast custom settings.

    If you want to get really fancy, you could add podcasts that were blocked from automatic downloading to a "Review" queue. This way you could selectively download large files that you may wish to have. An alternative would be to flag those large files such that they are downloaded automatically once connected to WiFi.

  15. Remove episode from New episodes playlist only if stream started

    I'm used to use New episodes playlist and I noticed PA removes an episode from that playlist just after clicked on the item.
    I would suggest to remove episodes from that playlist only if the stream started e.g. with no network signal the episode should remain in the list.

  16. Pin podcasts / exclude from "mark all played"

    I have a lot of podcasts subscribed to, some of which I don't need to listen to every episode, so I use your "mark all played" function a lot.

    Every now and then though, there are some podcasts I discover with many episodes that I'd like to catch up on and listen to all previous episodes. So I have to shuffle through the played section to find it, and end up forgetting about the podcast entirely. Is it possible to "pin" a podcast? Or have it be exempt from "mark all played"? Thanks, I love your app.

  20. On the Lock screen widgit and also on the podcast list screen to show network status when an episode is trying to play.

    Example: for when you're streaming an episode and have it paused and you hit play from the lock screen, have it show "connecting" or "buffering", ETC.

    I think this would be handy because as it is now, when you hit play, it takes like 5 - 10 seconds to start playing (depending on network speed and all that) but it can seem like it's not doing anything until it actually starts playing
