But the app will not switch back to the main screen automatically, because we can subscribe to more than one podcast. -
Custom Playlists
It would be great to be able to create custom playlists to further organise the podcast experience.

Back Button should lead back to previous view vom Player
eg. when I start an episode from 'Downloaded Episodes' and then I press the back button in the player, I get out of PA immediately now. I would like to get back to the previous view instead, eg. in this case back to downloaded episodes.
2 votesThe back button always go back to the previous screen. If you open the app, then the ‘downloaded episodes’ screen then an episode, the back button will then do the same thing backward

Improve RAM and processor usage
High processor and RAM usage.... please improve the code to make it run using minimum resources. I have a NEXUS 5, (a very powerful phone) , but still I observe some lags.
1 voteThe app doesn’t use any CPU except when listening to a podcast at a faster speed because of the real time sound processing. The app uses available RAM to optimize its speed. This is the purpose of the RAM. Using less ram will make the app slower.

Regarding the issue, the app only updates automatically at the time selected in the app settings. It also depends on the frequency you selected. If the network connection breaks during an update, then the update will resume when the connection resumes.

stops playing on first minimized
Pod cast stops playing when the app is minimized the first time. When opened again, play started and minimized again all is fine. Samsung s5

Regarding the issue this is a weel known android bug that can randomly occur when changing orientation or putting the app in the background. This has been improved with android 4.2.3 but it still occurs from time to time…

Don't delete all my subscriptions without warning
To be fair, I've been using PodcastAddict for a long time. In the past I've managed to get past any problems that came up without reading the manual. Today was the exception ... I inadvertently deleted all my subscriptions ... and I don't know why it happened.
I was trying to add a new subscription, which is very difficult when you have to type the RSS URL into that tiny box. I made a typo and could find no way to edit it once it was submitted. So I thought I would just delete it, but it did not show…

The only way to remove subscriptions is to unsubscribe from the podcasts one by one or to uninstall the app or to clear the app data from the android settings menu.
When you add a RSS feed no matter if the url is invalid it always shows up in the app main screen. Just make sure you’re not hiding empty podcasts. If so just press the eye icon to display every podcasts including the one without any unread episodes.
If you go into the ‘my subscriptions’ screen and unselect the podcasts you did subscribe to, then it will unsubscribe from them.

bug: repeat and shuffle icons do not get hidden
In the newest version of the app, while watching a video in landscape orientation, the repeat and shuffle icons do not dissapear.

There’s a workaround. Turn your device in landscape mode before opening the video and it should be ok.Thanks

show % completed while downloading
It is the only feature I miss in your app. Knowing what % has been downloaded and the estimated time to finish that download. Very useful for people downloading long podcasts. I will happily subscribe if this is done.

Add the ability to create multiple playlists
I have podcasts I listen for work and also for leisure. I sure as beck don't want to listen to leisurely podcasts when I am on vacation, holiday or enjoying weekends. Having the ability to create different types of playlists for different purposes is a definite plus.

There are fans of our show (Art of Charm Podcast) that can't seem to find us using your App.Is there any reason for this?

Regarding the issue, I don’t understand what the problem is. Both settings works well together. Once the episode is listened to it will be moved to the trash AND marked read as well.
Please give more detail about your settings and what’s happening.

Add the ability to add episodes to a subscribed podcast by dragging them into the podcast's storage folder.
I have some episodes for podcasts that are no longer available through the podcast's rss feed. I want to be able to add them manually to the storage folder and have them appear with the subscribed podcast episodes.
13 votesThe only way to display /listen to content not downloaded from the app is to create a virtual podcast. Those files won’t be linked to your existing subscriptions

I can not see the summary of the episodes. For example bei www.eslpod.com exists a subtitle that is not displayed.
For example this excellent Podcast to enhance my English, exists a subtitle that is displayed by the program, but the summary does not appear and this is in XML.

Feel free to update the play store review once you see the description after pressing on the episode.
If you don’t find the screen please send me the actions you’re doing to display the description once the app is opened.Thanks

online subscription and state
Please add a feature for online backup of list of subscriptions and state (list of read items).
Easiest way I can think of doing it - generating a file including the needed data, with the option to store the file on the users google-drive, and contiuously updating it on the g-drive (this is Android... :) )
