New Cleanup Option: Keep what is in playlist and not read/finished.
Title says it, auto-deqeue feature doesn't seem to prevent the clean-up if half listened to. This would be a nice consistent option in clean up.

allow more precise scrubbing/navigating within a podcast
On phone-sized screens it is very hard to use the scrub control (/"scroll bar ") to precisely navigate within a track/podcast (within ~30 seconds of precision). Please do one of the following to improve it:
- use a multi-level scrub control which allows more precise scrubbing by dragging up or down -YouTube does this for long videos and iOS also does something like this.
-build in some kind of protection so that when the user is picking up their finger the scrub control does not move
-add some other kind of UI element that allows precise navigation (note that the…9 votes -

Smartlist (automated playlists) based on selectable variable data (i.e. all podcasts from today or particular day, all episodes from a particular podcast for the past x days or date range.

Play button on main screen
Place a play button next to each podcast listing on the main screen. When pressed, have it begin playing the most recent episode. This will enable you to begin listening to the podcast in one tap instead of three (select podcast, select episode, play)

Tweak to keep screen option
It would be great if you could add an option to the new keep screen on feature for only when the phone is charging or has power applied. It would be good for use in a car while driving.

Get rid of the Holo glow gradient in the Black theme
I just upgraded to Lollipop and I was surprised this dated OS effect still shows up in PA. Is there anyway you can just set the background to go solid black in the black theme?

Pause and resume by tapping two or three times on the phone.
I use the application when I'm hiking. My phone is in my pocket and it is not always easy for me to use to access the controls.
As I hike with other people, I have to unplug my headphones every time someone wants to talk to me because I do not have time to take my phone, turn on the screen and press break.
I know that there are readers who are used to pause by tapping two or three times on the phone.
It would be really great to build this functionality into podcastaddict.

to make it possible to change filename in the disc directly from the app
Make it possible to change the filename directly from the app. Now the name in the app are those given by the seeder and file names in the hdd aren't always the same. It would be nice if we can change file names in the hdd in order to store them correctly. Thanks
10 votesNext version will allow you to customize default file names using predefined patterns. A 1st beta will soon be availble. Make sure to join the Beta on the Play Store app page to test this and provide some feedback.
This will of course apply to new downloaded episodes only.
You will have to go to Settings/Download and press on 'Use Custom filenames' to change the default behavior

Add category download settings
I would love to be able to set download behavior for different categories so that refreshing one category might result in automatic downloads, while refreshing another would simply refresh

Ajout de l'option "Episodes du podcast" dans le menu contextuel de la playliste
Cet item me serait très utile, pour accéder plus rapidement/facilement aux nombreuses fonctions de l'AP ==> ajouter de nouveaux épisodes, éliminer ou configurer le podcast...
En l'état actuel il faut d'abord retrouver le podcast, j'en ai beaucoup, et ce n'est pas toujours aussi évident que ça car dans certains cas le nom du podcast n’apparaît pas dans le titre du posdcast..L'option est déjà disponible dans d'autres menus, cela n'augmenterait donc pas la complexité de l'application.

Allow to favorite episodes via wearables
The ability to favorite episodes via Android Wear, a good example is how Google Music works with Wear.

I'd like it better if the lock screen widget had the play/pause button on the opposite side of the widget from the large X button.
So I don't have to be so deliberate when pausing a podcast and bit worry about accidentally closing it.

Can you make it possible to change "Latest Episodes(7d)" to Latest Episodes(14d) or Latest Episodes(21d)?
In the latest episodes only available to see the last 7 days new episodes. Sometimes I don't have time to listen pod-cast so I would need to see later the last 2-3 weeks episodes.

Detailled external control enabling
The BlueTooth link with my car sometimes spuriously commands to rewind a few seconds. Very annoying when it happens in a burst of several rewinds! I'd like to disable the external rewind command, but keep the ability to externally pause, restart or skip to next episode of the playlist.
Note: the BT audio of my car has a buffer of a few sec for a smooth BT streaming listening, even in presence of BT transmission glitches. I suspect that the app may get fooled when the car requests a BT transmission repeat.

Add Support to Override Podcast Title by Specific Character Limit
Some podcasts, like Friday Mixtape, have repetitive but long Podcast names. Eg. "Friday MixTape 271 - by @TheLastMinute", "Friday Mixtape 272 - by @TheLastMinute". The unnecessary length ruins custom widgets in UCCW and Zooper (as well as others). The ability to truncate this or even override specific track names would be a welcome feature.
