  1. Always allow manual drag & drop in the play list no matter what sort option is selected

    There should be no need to have to select this option from the sort menu

  2. Option to inform and erase duplicated podcasts

    Sometimes a site changes its feed, or have two feeds URLs, and when you search for the name, you find 4, 5 different links from the same podcast, some of then no more in use.
    I think an option to inform duplicated podcasts could make it easier to future users to find the correct feed of the podcast they want.

  3. Only start automatically triggered downloads when the device is plugged in

    At the moment, the automatic downloads trigger regardless of the power state.

    It would be great to have an option to prevent downloads when the device is running on battery or when it is running on battery and below a certain percentage battery charge.

    Otherwise, this is a fantastic app which I enjoy using.

  5. add auto mark new as read

    I would also like an option for podcasts are marked read on update. I have some podcasts I only listen to once every couple of weeks, I turned off auto download, but every new episodes shows up as new.

  6. Separate Bluetooth/Headphone start on connect

    Love to have the podcast startup when it automatically when it connects via Bluetooth in the vehicle but don't necessarily want it to auto startup when I plug in headphones to watch a movie.

  9. Allow zooming

    on a 7" tablet, it's difficult to read the text, eg pod details. should be possible to enable standard screen zooming like in a browser

  10. Apply customizable renaming rules to podcast labels

    Add an option for each podcast to replace a string into another one to keep only the interesting information in the podcast label.
    For example, I have :
    RMC : 22/09 - Le Top de l'Afterfoot : ... 1j

    replacing " de l'Afterfoot" by nothing would give :
    RMC : 22/09 - Le Top - 23h-0h 1j

    That way I would be able to see the podcast hour in the end of the label.
    That would also a way of sorting the podcast in a personalized way.

  11. Compact List display to have more episodes displayed at a time

    Add a compact list option to display a list of episodes without podcast thumbnail and description to save some space and have more episodes displayed at a time.
    On my HTC Desire S, I only see 3 episodes, it could be extended to 8...

  12. Preloading of pictures in preloaded feeds

    I love to read feeds like xkcd or phd-comics.
    Unfortunately, the pictures are not pre-downloaded, despite the fact that I checked the option for downloading feeds for offline reading.
    Thus, when I have time while I drive by bus or train with messy inet connection, I always have to wait until I can have fun ;)

  13. Better support for feedburner

    My feeds based on feedburner do not work.
    If I want to add the RSS Link on "http://spikedmath.com/" to my list, PA can not initialize the feed.

  14. Pre volume setting (similar to the MAVEN music player app)

    It would enable volume levels
    - louder than the maximum android setting with a "pre volume" set to high
    - softer than the minimum android setting with a "pre volume" set to low

    I know that the first point has already been requested. What I am really interested in is the second point.
    I usually listen to podcast at work, in a very quiet environment where the minimum volume setting is still too loud. I guess there is an impedance matching problem with my headphones which could be solved by buying new ones, but I would like a software solution.

  15. Build a web app

    This would allow multiple devices to sync to the main database online and users could choose which devices to use to listen to. If I'm on my computer I just load up the website interface. If I'm in a reading mood I can be on my tablet, then when I feel like walking I can pick up my phone and continue listening where I left off on my tablet.

    The business side exists too. As users sign up your organization will obtain tons of customer and user data to better target ads, promotions, and podcast suggestions. Email newsletters that talk…

  17. format show durations in a consistent manner

    Some feeds provide leading zero's, some always include hours and minutes and seconds, even when it's under an hour etc. These lengths should ideal be parsed and reformatted sprintf() stylee to give a consistent format.

  18. Allow merging of audio and video playlists

    I would like the option to see audio and video podcasts on the same playlist rather than two separate lists. Once I am using one, it tends to get more attention until I remember to switch to the other.

  19. Options to add music to playlist

    I like interspersing occasional songs between my podcasts, and since no longer using iPod/ iTunes have not found a way to do this in a podcast app.

  20. Optionally unclutter player view

    I never use the clock icon (no idea what that does), the star, the shuffle or loop function. I would like to have an option to hide these.
