Allow custom download dates for automatic downloading
For example, I like the show on Mondays but not Thursdays so I would set it to download only on Mondays or every day BUT Thursday.

ISSUE: When playing video files via bluetooth audio in the
ISSUE: When playing video files via bluetooth audio in the car, the video and audio are not synced. This is because there is an audio delay when playing via bluetooth.
Can you add a feature to un-sync the video/audio? ie. to play the audio maybe around 1 - 1.2 seconds before the video is played? that way we can manually sync the audio and video as its being played back.

Rembobinage dynamique
J'écoute beaucoup de podcast, en auto souvent, et même si l'app est génial, il reste un petit point noir qui est assez agaçant...
Ça concerne le "Rembobinage automatique" qui pourrait être grandement amélioré.
Je m'explique :Lorsque je suis en auto, j'en profite souvent pour appeler ce sont souvent de cours appel qui ne mérite pas que le podcast retourne X seconde en arrière...
Si on regarde l'exemple suivant :
- Je prend la route ( J'en suis à 1h03 et 15 secondes ), je viens déjà de retourner 15s en arrière vu que j'avais coupé le podcast au part avant

to check the Player in LockScreen. It often takes a lot of time to auto-skip in playlist to the next file if the phone-screen is off.
I don't use any energy save modes or something. All other players are playing fine only PA is in a 'lazy' mode. Really annoying...

Shrink the Order By list by having a separate ascending or descending option at the bottom.
The Order By list could fit on one screen on most phones if ascending or descending options were listed once at the bottom for user selection, instead of having to give the user both options for every options.

Show favorite episodes even if "hide read episodes" is on
I use "hide read episodes" so I can easily see all unplayed podcasts. But I also want to see my favorite episodes, and of course they have already been seen. Currently, I have to turn off the "hide read episodes", which floods my screen with old episodes, and then I need to shuffle to find my favorite ones. Doesn't make much sense.
It would be great if the favorites were also showed with the unplayed episodes.

Use dynamic compression to support listening in loud environments
If you are listening to podcasts in a loud environment (e.g. in traffic) you often need to turn up the volume to understand the quiet parts. But then the loud parts hurt your ears. And in podcasts it is especially important to be able to hear the quiet parts clearly. So a dynamic range compression would be IMHO very helpful.
The idea is here, that loud parts of the podcast are left as they are, but quiet parts of the podcast are amplified.

Mark episodes as "listened" and make it possible to show/hide them same way as "read"
Right now the most common way of handling episodes is to enable automatic cleanup with possible delayed delete via Trash.
I propose to make another option - mark episodes as "listened" in addition to ability to mark them as "read". This should be done automatically after entire episode was listened to or manually (this is optional, but still may be useful).
If this is implemented, I would be able to filter and see only listened episodes, which are still marked as unread.
This way I can control deleting of listened episodes manually, instead of automatic cleanup.

turn off delete confirmation / review mode
When I subscribe to new a podcast, or refresh existing ones, I would like to be able to quickly review full notes and decide which episodes I can delete. I would like to have a sort of "review mode" as an option, where on clicking the delete button:
- the delete confirmation popup doesn't appear
- the next episode is displayed (saving me the need to swipe)All in all, this saves time and makes long reviews much easier

A settings button to clear the cache.
I, and many others flash our ROM weekly or monthly. If I fail to delete episodes or make a proper backup I've got several gigs of dead space on my main storage. (stupid 4.4, preventing apps from using SD.)

add automatic rewind when disconecting headset
When your setting is not not pause on headset disconnection you lose audio for about 2 seconds hence you miss a whole sentence like this.
So my suggestion is to be able to set the episode to automatic rewind for example 3 seconds when unplugging headset or auxiliary input jack.
I usually listen to my pocast in my car stereo but when I arrive at work, I continue listening straighrt from my smartphone (from the parking lot to my office). However when unplugging it from the car stereo, I lose 2 seconds when when the episode changes from the aixiliary…4 votes -

Have option to keep screen on while listing to audio only podcasts. That way if I want to fast forward or rewind , I dont have to wake my phone up.

add first episode widget
Whuy not add a widget to open the playlist and start playing from the first episode.
There's already a last episode widget. But this one skips the episodes which are before it.
Add the first episode widget and it will be my go to widget in an everyday basis.6 votes -
allow enqueue/download all new from a specific podcast/category.
I don't mark read the episodes that I didn't download so when I refresh, they hang around and I can't run 'download unread' or else I'll get the old episodes I wasn't interested in.

InterOperability BT Sound Commands Smartwatch and Drive Car
Hi,
A) Installation of the App makes my BT smartwatch (Sony, version1) instead of commands play/previous/next default MP3 player app, commands podcastaddict app. and even Play command launched automatically the app (as default MP3 normally). So it was just an exchange of default app or something easy i guess. So this was the status a few months ago.
B) Since one/two months, updating your app, makes now my Drive Car (BT) does not command anymore my MP3 default player, i cannot use any remote command (play/previous/next) from Drive Car. As a workaround, i could use the commands on my mobile…

To mark sections in the episodes.
If it were possible to mark sections in the episodes (buttons / resources able to define inputs and outputs, "in" and "out"), with the possibility of to appoint them, allowing them to hear chapters and also enabling the sending of these markings for other users Addict Podcast (that way it would be possible to define which chunk from the episode we would like to show someone else).
