  1. ! Add USER UPDATABLE field #20 char. in EPISODE description area.

    Several pages concerned: episode List, downloaded episodes, recentepisodes, etc..
    Especially useful for those episodes with missing or non pertinent title (eg. Just Podcast name)

  2. Pouvoir spécifier une plage pour le téléchargement automatique

    Certains podcasts d'émissions de radio proposent des best-of le week-end, cela permettrait d'exclure ces best-of des téléchargements automatiques.

  3. Don't show textual entries from feeds

    Some feeds don't have only the podcast episodes, but also include textual posts... They should not appear in the app unless otherwise chosen by the user.

  4. Sub-divide public radios

    In mode "New Podcast / Network List" I think the list is too long for public radio like Radio-France. I can't see many icons of radios...why ? I don't know. It is not easy to find the desired program.

  5. Use only one notification for all events

    The normal android application must notify only one time by application. Else, a big list of notification are showed. I think it's may be a good idea to present only one notification with all informations.

  6. Toggle the display of undownloaded episodes per podcast, exactly like the toggle for 'read' episodes

    I woyld lime to be able to sort and filter a podcasts episodes. The ability to display only new/downloaded episodes per podcast would be very handy. Currently, if a podcast has a lot of episodes, i wont download them all, but they clutter the listing and i have to look for episodes with the downloaded icon to play offline. The workaround i am using to get a similar effect, is to mark them all as read, and then go through and fir each episode i want, download and mark it unread.

  7. update only on specified time frame (i.e. *not* at night for example) it would save battery.

    My podcasts are only morning radio shows.
    It would be perfect to have automatic downloads from 8am to 1pm then a "sleep mode" without connexions to save/optimize battery.

  8. option to set maximum amt. Of storage for downloaded podcasts

    Allow the user to specify how much storage to use for downloaded podcasts. When automatically downloading new podcasts and the storage is exceeded, podcasts would be removed according to the autoclean settings.

    The end goal is to allow as many podcasts to be stored as storage will allow, without exhausting all storage, and without having to choose arbitrary limits on age or number of episodes.

  9. ETA (estimated time of arrival)

    Calculate the ETA of each individual download in the queue and a sum total of all downloads to estimate when all downloads will be complete.

  10. Bandwidth limit

    A control to limit bandwidth utilization (say to 50% of available bandwidth or a specific mb/s limit, say 1 megabit per second) so the phone can perform other network tasks without too much slowdown (or consuming bandwidth over wifi.)

  11. Allow the user to specify the maximum number of episodes to be queued

    For each podcast feed it should be possible to specify how many episodes should be queued on the playlist.

    For example you might only want the 3 most recent episodes of an hourly news podcast, but all 20 episodes of a drama.

  12. Allow quicker feed update frequency (5min or less)

    Currently the most frequent the feeds will auto refresh is 30min. Is it possible to make it less? Like 5min or less? Push maybe?

  13. Can make a Playlist like youtube. Choose among the channels.

    I think it would be great to have a Playlist whichwe can choose eepisodes from different channels. And there should be a white theme and also the dates of the episodes should be shown in date format. Not like 3days or 1 months format

  14. Customer Settings

    I prefer the internal player cause it's able to mark the podcast read. However, it is not able to play some video. So it is possible to have a custom settings option so that I can select external player for some of these videos ? Thanks.

  16. add a volume function within the app that controls the volume that the podcast plays independent of the volume of the rest of the device.

    I like to listen to music while learning a new language using another application called duolingo. The language learning app has a teacher that speaks random sentences so it would be nice to turn down the volume of the podcast while maintaining the volume of my other app

  17. Implement audio transmission to receiver devices (Airplay-like)

    Allow PodcastAddict to connect to audio servers.
    Even if AirPlay(R) isn't an option (XBMC does it by the way),
    there are alternatives, e.g. I run a shairport4w service on my windows machine and DLNA compatibility is everywhere nowadays

  19. Do not resume playback after phone call if headset / bluetooth where disconnected

    use case 1:
    i hear a podcast using a head set.
    i get a phone call, and plug out my headset.
    when the phone call is finished, the speaker plays the podcast.

    use case 2:
    i'm in my car listening via bluetooth,
    get a phone call during driving and park while phone call is still active.
    when i end my call outside of the car, the speaker plays the podcast.
