  3. have a setting to prevent streaming completely

    I never want to play something that isn't downloaded. Data charges are just too expensive. However I keep getting messages that tell me I'm steaming and I should download to stop steaming. Why are these episodes in my playlist? How can I prevent streaming entirely?

  4. add tenth of a second to offset episodes

    I love the fact that I can automatically skip intros ann commercials in the custom setting. However, some episodes require a more specific time frame (tenth of a seconds) to be accurate when skipping the intros. So my suggestions is to be able to customize episodes by tenth of a second: 5.5, 7.2 etc.

  6. It would cool to be waken up by my favourite podcast.

    Include a scheduled start of freshly downloaded podcasts as wake up in the mornings.

  7. Add a "to top" button when at the bottom of a long list.

    Sometimes (many times) i i get to the bottom of a long list of episodes.
    Would be nice to appear a link button with a "to top"

  8. Will there ever be other platforms? Desktop or iOS mainly

    I love this, it's the best podcast app out there by a longshot. Unfortunately, I no longer have an android device. What are your thoughts on doing a desktop app or an iOS, possibly jailbroken, app?

  9. Using cloud folder for virtual podcasts

    Hi,
    I love podcast addict, but there's some audio files I want to listen like a podcast. Good for me, there's an option named "Virtual podcast" where I can use any file from a local folder like a podcast.
    But, it would be great if I can use a folder from the cloud (like Dropbox or Google Drive...) to store my files at first.

    Maybe the episodes can be manually removed from non-download (deleted) list.

  11. make the FAQ article 'No more SD card Storage since Android KitKat' complete

    The FAQ article 'No more SD card Storage since Android KitKat' fails to mention that when one changes the designated storage folder they no longer have access to podcasts downloaded to the old storage folder.
    With a file manager app one can move the old files. But then they still have to go through the motions of downloading those files again for podcastaddict to recognize the moved files. [The re-download operation is quicker than an actual full download.]

  13. be able to show list of completed/finished items

    in the downloaded episodes you can hide "unread" items; it would be nice if you could switch between "all", "unread only", "finished only" and "partially only".

    this could replace the "reading in progress" list.

    I ask because I don't have automatic deletion on completion set up, so I have to go into the downloaded list and then find all the finished ones and delete them if I don't want to keep them.

  14. Be more selective about features requests

    Hi,

    I already posted a 4/5 comment on Google Play, and I want to share my opinion on your app :

    It seems that, since a few months, a few features have been added (from user requests, I guess), and sometimes it feels a little weird :

    • Categories could be a nice idea, but I want to keep a clean and simple home screen.
      Removing every categories in the options didn't help.
      The app still displays a useless spinner with two identical items ("all categories" & "no categories").

    • I don't need playlists. And even if I don't, I can sometimes…

  15. Change Podcast Main Picture and WiFi Queue

    First of all thanks! You've been doing a great job.
    I don't know if this is the right place but I'd like to leave two small suggestions:
    1. It would be nice if I could change the podcast's main image. Sometimes the image isn't good enough and I would like to change it for a better one.
    2. Is is possible to create a episode download queue for WiFi? So I could be able to select episodes during the day, using a mobile connection, and automatically download when a WiFi connection become available.
    That's all and keep doing this great…

  16. Add option to hide playlist audio / video bar

    This bar takes up significant screen real estate for a feature that probably most listeners don't use. It would be nice to have the choice to hide it. (By the way, thanks for providing the option to hide the tags bar!)

  18. Add an option

    To set the maximum number of unread episodes globally. For example, I'd like tell the app to mark all episodes older than say 1 month as read for all subscribed to podcasts.This would eliminate a lot of clutter and be handy when subscribing to new podcasts. Or, like me, when first starting to use your app. Then, if I want to see older shows, I would just need to click the eye icon to show all episodes. Make sense?

  19. MIX IT UP!

    It would be interesting to have a "SURPRISE ME" button that would RANDOMLY selected a new (streaming) podcast episode — from all of my subscriptions — just to inject some variety into my listening.

    Otherwise, even adding the option to RANDOMLY PLAY DOWNLOADS would be nice.
