Communicate title via Bluetooth
If an app provides title metadata via intent, then a car radio or any other display connected via bluetooth could display track title or even display a cover image (if both devices support this, this is since AVRCP 1.3)

allow podcasts to be automatically marked read after a certain percentage has been listened to
There are a few podcasts I cut short as I don't listen to the ending portions of them.
It would be nice to have a setting where they can be automatically marked read after you've listened to 90% or more, with the percentage required being variable.
Or possibly if there's under a certain amount of time left in them. Thanks!

I will add a new setting to allow skipping episodes outro.
This will be a podcast custom setting.
You will have to select the number of seconds to skip at the end of the podcast. Once this threshold is reached the app will consider that the episode has been fully listened to so depending on your settings it will be marked as read, deleted, removes from the playlist and the resume position will be reset. This will be release in v3.4
Edit: Available in the latest beta.
Feel free to test it and to give me some feedbackThanks

No automatic rewind after a notification
after an audio notification (SMS Mail...), the podcast is rewinded with the amount of time configured in the Automatic Rewind parameter.
No need to rewind in this case. Only rewind after a manual pause or after the end of a timer.18 votesDelivered in the last version v2.17

Google added some new native features in Android 6.0 which allows changing video playback speed.
I’ll try adding this, but it will only work on Android 6.0 and aboveEdit: this feature should be available in v3.18 for Android 6.0 devices only
Edit2: This feature is available in the latest beta. Please give it a try and let me know if it works fine. The speed is limited to 2.2x because Android API seems to have some issues above
Edit3: Delivered in v3.18

Add autoplay feature
I use another podcast app that has an autoplay feature. This means I can use my alarm app to launch the podcast app so I can wake up to my podcasts. I like YOUR app better than Stitcher & would love to be able to use your app for my alarm as well.

A first beta has been published with the Alarm feature.
Please join the Beta on the Play Store app page, then update the app to get it.
I will need your help to test this on many different devices and situations to make sure this works fine.
For now everything except the Snooze feature has been implemented.
You can find more details in the Changelog (https://podcastaddict.com/changelog/2021_11)Thanks!

Open links in an episode description in an external browser
The behaviour changed recently and now links open inside the app, which is horrible for navigation. Or is my system fucked up?

Add Favicon images for rss news feeds
Rather than display the standard orange rss icon it would be good if the favicon of the site could be used instead?

Replace "Filter" menu by a customizable navigation bar
Currently, it exists the Filter menu, with several options (Lastest episodes, downloaded episode, ...).
The problem is we must select this menu and after the desired option, and option lines are quite small and its not easy to access them during driving for exemple.
So, my idea is to add a navigation bar instead of the "filter" menu, with direct access to all or some options represented by icons (if its not possible to add all options, it would be great that the user could choose options he wants in this navigation bar).
I thinks the navigation will be more…7 votesDelivered in v2.0

A list of the meanings of all the different action/navigation icons (like the + icon for example) please.
I think it is a great app, but i don't know the meanings of the various icons that you can hit for various actions or to navigate - could this be listed somewhere please?? Thank you

Remove extra icons
First of all, congrats for a very good app. I am trying the free app and considering to buy it. I think adding extra icons to the drawer should be an option on the settings. 3 icons is too much in my case.
Thanks.

add dowload progres bar and download queue view
I miss download progres in episodes and a list sowing all downloads in progres
1 votethe download progress is available in the download notification (progress bar + %), and if you press on the download notification it opens the list of every episodes in the download Queue. You can also open this list using the filter called ‘Download in progress’.
I suggest that you vote for the following suggestion, that will add a real download manager into the app:http://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/4115748-add-a-download-manager

add feature to shut off screen when video podcasts are playing.
I want to be able to carry my android device in my pocket and listen to any video podcast with the screen locked. This is suitable when I can't keep my eyes on the screen (when driving for example) this way I save battery and I avoid having the cellphone active (video might be stopped accidentally)

In order to see my video episodes, Ihave to go to the podcast episode and play an episode. I repeat this process to see the next one. I spend a lot of time doing this. I need a video playlist (it seems podcast addict doesn't have it).
