  1. Real listening time

    I would like to see also a line displaying the real listening time I spent, it is the total time minus playback speed and all the skip silence, intro, outro. I can do it manually but it is not friendly

  3. Retrying to download failed podcats

    The download manager should have an option that will automatically retry to download failed podcasts, thus avoiding the need to check if any podcasts failed to be downloaded. maybe at least 2 or 3 times in the next hours;

  4. Allow sort settings to be saved for different playlists

    I would like to manually sort one playlist because some of the episodes were released in the wrong order, (I am setting up the podcast as an alarm so I want the order I select to just save).

    The problem is that when I go to other playlists and change the sorting then it affects my other playlists and deletes the new order I created.

  5. Allow Descriptions to Show More Than One Line

    Titles have option to show up to 5 lines, defined by user. Many chunky podcasts have long descriptions, too. The descriptions really help you decide. Need more than two lines. Encourage adding it as a user-can-set value, like titles. Please allow any number, as some can be quite long.

  8. Let sleep timer pause at the end rather than exit application

    I use al lot the Sleep Timer feature to help me listen to my favorite podcasts as I fall asleep. However, currently, the app simply exits the application at the end of the timer instead of pausing.

    In my opinion, it would be more convenient if the Sleep Mode Timer could pause the playback when it reaches the designated time. This way, if I want to continue playback I can voice command Google assistant to resume playback. Now Google assistant will say "there is no media playing".   9. Setting for auto removing deleted episodes from playlist

    I listen to a few podcasts and really like your design to auto cleanup the playlist.
    But I can not properly use it since I have a few (music based podcast episodes) which I want to remain in the playlist and downloaded all the time.
    I favorited those music-episodes so they do not get auto deleted from the cleanup settings and after listening they do successfully not get deleted and not removed from the playlist, perfect.
    But sadly all other episodes now only get deletet from storage after listening and not removed from the playlist.

    Is it possible for you…

  12. Chapter Title/Timestamp Order

    Reviving an old discussion, I admit. Take a look at this RSS:

    This feed puts the timestamp before the associated chapter's name. PA is always listing the previous text instead. Could there be a setting to tell PA to look after the timestamp for the chapter's name?

    I would like to turn chapters off. Can an "off" option be added to the Chapter Extraction setting?

    (Chapter metadata doesn't work well with scrobbling to Last.fm, so I would prefer to not use them.)

  14. User-Customizable Sorting Algorithm for Podcast Episodes

    I would like to suggest a new feature that would allow users to create their own custom sorting algorithm based on a priority multiplier that takes into account various properties of each episode, such as duration in minutes, days since publication, podcast's priority, days since download, remaining time in minutes, progress percentage, rating, etc.

    This algorithm would work by taking each episode's properties and multiplying them by the user-defined weight, and then summing up the results to create an "episode score." For example, a user might assign a higher weight to the duration in minutes and a negative weight to…

  15. Add "Spread podcasts" option to the playlist sort

    This would work similar to the "Alternate podcasts" option, but would work better when different podcasts release with different frequencies.

    Currently, if Podcast A releases weekly, but Podcast B releases monthly, the Alternate podcasts option when sorted by date will produce a playlist that goes:
    ABABABAAAAAAAAA

    Instead, it would be nice if the two podcasts could be "spread out", so the playlist is:
    AABAAAABAAAABAA

    Thus, rather than greedily alternating strictly at the beginning of the playlist, they are distributed so that they alternate over the entire playlist. This would prevent the problem of getting to the end of the playlist…

  16. Multiple settings to disable artwork display

    Myself, I'd want it disabled in Car Layout, as I have Podcast Addict in split screen and the artwork wastes critical space.

    Others could want the artwork removed from the regular player layout or a widget.

  17. Automatic Episode Deletion Enhancement

    The app currently allows for the automatic deletion of an episode based on when it was downloaded. However, the lowest value that can be set is 1 day. instead of having a fixed set of values like now (1d, 3d, 1w, 2w, etc.) can you change the UI so that the user can enter whatever number they want and select the time unit (hour, day, week, month)?     I.e.: Priority: #100 (3) Daily news

  20. Add a wheel for adjusting bookmark position

    I would love to have some of the following features in the 'add bookmark (＋)' function:

    _ a wheel for adjusting the bookmark's position
    _ _ rotating = seeking and starting to play from the positions
    _ _ _ update position every, say, 0,3-1,0 seconds
    _ _ finger movement stops = play from chosen position
    _ _ radial movement on the wheel = replay from chosen position
    _ _ _ probably using the same interval setting as with rotating
