  2. add drag-to-seek controls

    At the moment, tapping on the podcast picture while it is playing = pause/unpaired

    I suggest to use all this screen realestate for controls similar to apps like BSPlayer

    Drag up/down to change volume (could have this if it is done on the left side of the screen, up/down on the right side of the screen for brightness)
    Drag left/right for very fine control over the seek time: fast drag = skip fast & a lot of time quickly.

    It works very well in other apps, if you look at the way that BSPlayer operates, it allows very fine control…

    Searching for new podcast based on subject as opposed to title can be time consuming.so how bout a when you find a podcast you like podcast addict develops a if you like this then you might like this also tab,

  4. allow the option to skip episodes while keeping them in the playlist

    sometimes for whatever reason I don't want to listen to a specific podcast but I'd like to keep it for later. Can we get an option to mark a file as "skip until further notice" or something, mark it somehow (cross out?) but keep it visible in the playlist and just skip over it like what happens with an unplayable file?

  5. Let Podcast Addict find wireless speakers and sound systems (Sonos ect)

    Dear podcast addict. As my preferred podcast app, I'm extremely satisfied with the ease of use of the app, except for one thing, it's just too damn hard to connect to Sonos (yes, I know I can make a subfolder, but the layout in the Sonos app when I'm doing this is really crappy compared to your app. Spotify have the last couple of days released support for Sonos (and other wireless devices) that works pretty smooth. As the wireless marked is expanding, is this something you plan to do as well. Now that Sonos finally is opening up, so…

  6. After you shake to restart the sleep time, rewind a small amount which can be adjusted

    I'm always annoyed when (due to low volume of the sleep timer) I miss the last few seconds of a podcast and don't feel like rewinding. It would be nice if there were a setting to enable and disable this and for different amounts of time.

  7. Add some Car Mode automation

    It would be nice to be able to tweak Podcast Addict behaviour while in Car Mode, for whose who don't/can't use Android Auto.

    When the phone is in Car Mode, aka. when connected to a given Bluetooth device, Podcast Addict behaviour could be tweaked:
    * Player is changed automatically to Car Mode
    * Volume level could be set to a fixed value (85% for example) as one is likely to change the volume using the car audio
    * Starting Podcast Addict would directly open the player screen, avoiding spurious manipulation from user while driving
    * Player could be paused if…

  8. Continous Controls at the bottom of the Interface

    Mini Control panel should stick to the bottom of Interface on each and every screen. Must include play/pause, forward, rewind and speed control.

  9. Skip silence attack control

    I like the option!.. but I also experience abit awkwardness with it the audio. It's sounds like the app allows no null sound..
    I've would really like a option for control how much the app should attack the audio. So the app will allow 1s or 2s of null sounds

  10. allow closed captioning to be available for video podcasts

    In case one uses podcast addict as video player for movies or video podcasts having subtitles available.

  11. Allow to change which app shortcuts are displayed in Nougat

    Nougat as well as ActionLauncher allow for app shortcuts. They are great to jump into different parts of the app.

    I want to be able to change which options to jump into. I guess we all use different parts of the app more. It's great for power users.

  12. Add an indication of how much *time* is left in the Playlist

    The Playlist indicates how many episodes are unread, but I'd love to see how many minutes/hours are unread. This would help me manage my Playlist and give me a better sense of whether I have enough episodes for a long drive, etc. Thanks!

  14. Add a bandwith limiter

    I would like a way to limit the speed at which the podcasts download, the reason is that i use my wifi to download many things at once and the podcast coaks the bandwith

  15. "Play podcast when downloading has finished" button.

    Slow internet means I don't have time to sit and wait for the episode to finish. Instead, I'd love for PA to start playing a designated episode once it has finished downloading.

  16. Customization Styles

    create customization styles so that users can apply a bundle of options to different channels. For example, for learning type PodCast, I always want to sort from old to new, I always want to play from old to new, I may not want to delete after playing, etc. For news, I don't want old podcasts, I don't want to store too many episodes, etc.

  18. Better driving controls

    When starting a podcast episode you have to click a small play button sandwiched between the elapsed podcast time and how long ago it was released. While driving I have found it frustrating to accurately hit this bitton, it is too small, often I am a bit off which then takes me to the episode description with the play button at the furthest point from my thumb possible. So then I have to change my grip on the phone or tablet to start the playback. This is frustrating and distracting while driving down the road in my transport truck. I…

  19. To add a total play time left on the play list

    Thanks for a great app that I've used every single day since the last 2 years. There are many features that I love in this app, however, I'd like to make a suggestion. In the play list view one can see the total number of episodes left to play, right next to it can we have a total time left (sum of all remaining times for each episode) within that play list?

  20. to combine different feeds to one virtual feed

    I'd like to combine different added feeds to a virtual single one, so i have the episodes of all this feeds in this one virtual feed.

    I have different scenarios for this:
    1. I have one content producer which provides multiple feeds. I'd like to handel all of his feeds like a single one.
    2. I want to combine different feeds by topic to handle them like a single one.
