wider progress bar in portrait mode
The progress bar of the audio player doesn't use the hole width of the screen in portrait mode because of the time codes to its left an right. This makes it harder to skip to a certain point on a long podcast. I suggest that the two time codes will be moved above the progress bar to make it larger.
This is already the case if I switch to landscape but I would like it to be like that in portrait as well because my phone is normally locked in portrait mode.4 votes -

Better quick actions
I like the idea of quick actions, but they are seriously underdeveloped. Right now all you can do is either make it always play the episode, or download it, which will also act as play for downloaded episodes. My proposal is to add following options:
- Enqueue/dequeue, depending whether the episode is already in the playlist.
- Mark read/unread.
- Delete episode, to complement the download action.
Furthermore, the setting should be context aware, meaning you can set them separately for non- and downloaded episodes, as well as perhaps the currently playing one.

create a "mark all newer episodes read" feature
I'm steadily working backwards through a news podcast with a history that spans years. Unfortunately, I had to wipe my phone recently. After getting everything set up again, I'm faced with having to individually mark hundreds of episodes as read. A "mark episodes newer than this as read" feature would be great.

Change abbreviation 1m to 1 month (since this looks like 1 minute)
I was confused by 1m because I thought it meant 1 minute. I think it would be better to clarify 1h 1d 1m with 1 hour 1 day 1 month or 1 hr 1 day 1 mon.

More friendly backup and restore from cloud (I talk about not direct syncyng with servers)
There is already exists an option to save backup to device, than share it to cloud.
But
If i want to restore my podcasts from cloud (for sync purposes) i have to go to cloud (google drive for example) than download backup, than find it from addict app than apply it
It is suggestion to have an opportunity save your and restore youur backup in single instance directly to google drive. It is already done in some android apps. Andromoney for example

Consider adding a warning about App Data deleting OPML and full database backups
Episode descriptions were not being displayed, so I decided to wipe app data and see if some corruption in the configuration database was causing it. I did OPML and full backup, the then wiped app cache and data. To my surprise, that action wiped the backup files in their directories as well (though it left the folders in place); now I'll need to recover my feed list by wracking my brain. Not a LOT of feeds, but some other user with hundreds could get quite upset.

add more options to the player behavior
As of right now, the podcsst player either lowers the volume or pauses when there is an external notification. What sbout adding a third option so the notifications can be heard without altering the current episode.

Edit the podcast name
When you go to change the name of the podcast, you have to write it completely. I think it would be better to have the option of edit the existing name, for example, delete just a word:
Default name: "Podcast Industrial revolutionology"
Desired name: "Industrial revolutionoligy"It would be much easier to edit the default name, than to write all the name. If you want to change several podcasts, it counts.
