  1. Add an option to remove unread episode count from main podcast screen

    I never really use the numbers in orange on the main podcast screen, and it would be nice if there were a display option to not show them

  3. Have a network override option for individual podcasts

    Not just be able to force a particular episode to download over mobile data despite global settings being wifi-only, which would be great and I believe is being implemented.

    Rather, an override for a subscribed podcast: for example I may have some short podcasts that I don't mind downloading on a data plan, but also have some much larger podcasts that I would prefer to be downloaded only over wifi.

  4. Option to supress toasts for normal operations

    The option to turn off toasts has a warning that one may miss important error messages if they are turned off. I simply don't want toasts appearing on the Player screen exactly when a new podcast starts (because it covers the Pause button) - but this is exactly when the toast telling me that the previous podcast has been deleted appears. I don't need a toast telling me the item has been deleted (since this is a normal operation), but would still like notifications of errors.

  5. New sleep timer option

    I would love an option to stop at the end of the episode that's currently playing when the sleep timer has ended (i.e. my kids should go to sleep at a about certain time (set in the sleep timer option), but allowed to finish the episode that's is currently playing when the timer ends).

    One solution would be to change the "Stop at the end of the current episode" to "Stop at the end of the episode". If no Sleep time is set it could work exactly as today (stopping after the current episode), but if a sleep timer is…

  6. Slide episodes and give play/delete options (Especially in downloads and in playlist)

    When in playlist or downloads you have to either hold or open episodes you want to delete. I want a "slide to left"-option that'll bring out a quick 2x2 grid or something with delete, play, read (really listened) and something more of your liking.

  7. It would be nice if you can add a "Watch later" button like on YouTube.

    Adding a tool to safe an episode in a list to watch vor listen to it later, because of you don't habe enough time to hear the Podcast or you are listening to another Podcast and found a intersting New one you want to hear later.
    (I don't mean the playlist, I thought about a (optional) list like the New episodes or the downloaded podcasts.)

  8. for RSS function: automatic mark read on scroll

    Under rss function: mark read on scroll or (swipe), PA does a really nice job of showing RSS content, but when I am done I can only mark the entire feed as read; or each one individually, would love for each individual article to be marked read as I swipe thru them

  9. Restore Progress Bar Legibility

    In Playlist view, the actively played episode's progress bar is difficult to read. An inactive episode's progress bar in the same view has enough contrast between bar and fill to read progress.

    The redesign introduced this diminished legibility.

    The fill (played time) of the bar is not quickly discernable because it is too close in thickness, brightness and color to the bar (total time) behind it. The contrast here between the bar and background is dangerously low, too.

    Higher contrast will give these components (bar, fill, and background) a clearer border, making them clear to the eye.

  11. Fix: Video playback stops in background on Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini on Android 4.4.2

    I can't play video podcasts in background. When I leave the video window, podcast addict pauses playback. I tried uncheck Settings -> Video Player but it doesn't help. When I turn off the display, I can hear the podcast (Background Playback works) but when I open another app, open another window in Podcast Addict (settings) or press home button, playback stops.

    The app behaves little bit different depending if the checkbox is checked. If it is checked and I reenter video player, I have to press play to continue playback. If the checkbox isn't checked, playback automatically continues when I…

  13. Slide up and down gestures for currently playing podcast

    Add a slide up gesture for the currently playing podcast instead of just a tap to open like there is now. A matching slide down gesture would be great too. The slide down should take you back to whatever screen you were using previously to sliding up.

  14. Have a setting to enable volume boost automatically when plugged in (For when I'm in my car)

    Automatically enable volume boost when plugged in. Normally, I don't need volume boost, and don't want to waste the battery, but I use volume boost in my car and it would be useful to have it automatically enabled when charging in my car.

  15. Enhance "playlist duration" feature

    Give the option to show "playlist duration" as estimated clock time for end of queue. Allow "playlist duration" to match speed adjustment.

  16. Other variant of trash limitation - by size in Mb

    If size of trash with 'fresh' episode exceeds the size limit - the oldest episodes are to be deleted. but trash will keep all episodes until 'fresh' episodes are added to trash or manual delete

  18. Add casting support to Roku

    This is the best podcast app by far. My only gripe is that I routinely find myself longing to cast my podcasts from this app to my roku. If it becomes complicated to make it work for all Rokus then I'd suggest to focus efforts to make it compatible with the latest versions of the Roku 2 Roku 3, and the Roku streaming stick. I hope you can make it happen. Thank you.

  19. Offer an Android L Style UI

    I would love to have a theme option that would unify this app with other newly skinned Android L interfaces. I am a big fan of the changes made in presentation on 5.0 and would like an option for this app to represent something similar.

  20. allow update settings to be different for each subscription

    id like to set the update frequency and auto-download settings differently for each individual podcast
    some i listen to every day, some (like news) several times a day, some only here and there. id like to not have to 'mark read' all the time for podcasts i dont frequently listen to. it leads me to unsubscribe to some just to not have to sort it out all the time
