  1. Playback order

    Hello, thank you for your prompt response on Google play. I would like to see the list of episodes of a podcast from newest to old, but be able to automatically play the next newest podcast. Haven't been able to figure out if that's possible. Stitcher is able to do that, but is the ONLY feature I like from them. Overall, PA is a much better app.

  2. Fix volume issue

    Other users have brought up the issue of podcasts playing at full volume regardless of device volume. I find that if I play one podacst, it will always function normally and play at the device's volume; BUT when I play a second episode, it invariably plays at full volume and does not respond to volume controls. I have to force stop the app and sometimes that helps, sometimes it doesn't.

    tl;dr once I play a podcast episode, if I play a second one it will only play at full volume regardless of device settings. This is sometimes resolved by force-stopping…

  3. Be able to turn the speaker off.

    I would like to turn off the speaker and listen like I'm using my Samsung Galaxy S8 as a telephone.

  4. Give Us Custom Views on the Home Page

    I might have a 100 podcasts I subscribe to, but I only regularly listen to 15 of them. I don't want my main page cluttered with podcasts I don't listen too, but I also don't want to unsubscribe to them.

    Having different views would let me create a Main view with my top podcasts, among with a sports view for my sports podcasts, a comedy view for when I want to laugh, and a history view.

    You can add the podcasts you listen to the most to a specific category and then filter the main screen to only show this category (Settings/Lists/Categories)

  5. Launch App directly into Player page

    I would like to be able to start PA directly in player mode. That page is where I spend the majority of my time when using the app,so having the ability to launch directly into the player would be vary convenient.

  6. "No episode deleted..."

    I manually download podcasts from pc and transfer to old phone with podcast addict app on it and use them as virtual. I've done this for years. I recently started using a newer old phone and downloaded the new version of the app. When I'm finished listening to a podcast, I will long press on it to delete it from the phone. This used to work, but now I get a message that says "No episode deleted...". When I plug into PC the file is still on the device. Is this a limitation of newer version of podcast addict?

  7. Samsung killing app playback again

    Samsung seems to have changed its system. I've checked the power saving menus, but the same options aren't there. Every day after around 8 hours of playback, the app gets reset.
    I've checked that it's not Google play store trying to run updates, but that is definitely disabled.

  9. Suggestions Uservoice Website Unusable on Android/Chrome?

    Trying to make another suggestion froze my broswer multiple times from Android/Chrome.

    On the PC it works great. Not sure if it happens to other people, but it's unusable, it would lock for ~1 minute at a time, then work again for ~30 seconds.

  11. Flag next episode will play after current episode

    A great app but frustrating with behaviours of playlists and recent episodes to know what is going to play after the episode you are listening to has finished.

  12. Problems with storage

    I currently have the storage folder set as my SD card. This is now fully and new downloads won't commenced. I have tried deleting Podcasts, but it does not seem to free the space up on the SD card,so new downloads are still not working. What can I do to remedy this situation?

  15. Mark epidode as 'played' when 10% of episode is unplayed and user skips to a different podcast

    Hi,

    I'm a long time user of this app, and it's been great, but this one thing really bugs me.

    Usually I 'bail out' on podcasts when they go into their 'wrap-up' segment. Closing credits, etc.

    Because of this, I'm left with any number of almost completed podcast episodes that I don't want to finish listening to, but won't clear themselves from my 'unplayed' list.

    I'd love a checkbox setting that would allow me to say:

    If a podcast has 10% or less unplayed, and the user started listening to another podcast, mark the one with 10% or less unplayed…

    You can use the skip outro feature to set the app to automatically skip the last XX seconds of a podcast. You can also skip to the next episode by long pressing on the player next episode button to delete the current one while skipping to the next episode

  16. Implement Rewind button in widget

    Widget currently has Pause and Forward buttons but no Rewind. This will make it possible to rewind episode from lock screen

  17. Add GeoRSS support for geolocalized podcast episodes, for touristic/museums guides, events news, etc

    Would be nice to have a map visualization for searching podcast episodes or watching the subscribed ones.
    There is the standard GeoRSS for tagging them.

    I noticed a couple of interesting concept app:

    This last one is more similar to what I think could be more appropriate for your great app. Their problem is that is very immature and lack of the ton of feature PA has.

  18. Remove interstitial ads with sound

    In the past couple of weeks every so often I have been getting interstitial ads that have sound. It is quite annoying because these ads pause the podcast that I am currently listening to. Since this app exists solely to provide audio content it seems inappropriate to have ads with sound. Could you adjust your advertising to include only silent ads?

    Interstitials are not supposed to have any sounds, as video and audio ads are blocked in Google Admob interface.
    In case you find an ad with some sound, please send me a screenshot by email so I can report it to Google, then press on the ad ‘i’ button to report it yourself
    This will help the ad to be banned

  19. Option to disable 'delete episode' shortkey

    When press and hold the forward and/or back keys of the player, it asks for confirmation to delete the currently playing episode. My phone (nokia 7.1) is very sensitive around the edges, and it happens a lot that when I'm walking with my phone in my hand, it starts vibrating and asking me to delete the episode.

    You can play a video episode in the background, but this won’t save any data. This is still a video file that will be streamed or downloaded.
    The only way to save data would be if this video was also available as an audio only file
