Enhance the sleep feature
It would be great if the sleek feature could be enhanced in the following ways:
Allow for shaking the phone to extend the timer (or reset it to the configured time) at any point while the timer is on. Use case: if I have for instance two minutes left on the timer and I'm still very awake, I either need to open up the app and manually reset the timer, or wait for two minutes to extend it. This would allow an easy shake to set it up so I can focus on sleep.

Allow to set download date (and possibly other attributes) manually
Oftentimes, longer episodes, belonging together, are split into multiple smaller ones. They, however, are sometimes mixed up with regards to their download/publish date and show up out of order in the (automatically sorted) playlist. Manually setting some attributes per episode would help here.

Back button update please!!
When I open the app and it pops up with the track I last played, I want to be able to hit the back button on my android device and have it go to the podcasts main page with all the episodes.
Everytime I open the app (usually from a widget) I hit the back button, cause I just finished a podcast and want choose something new, and it just closes the app. Please fix this as it is super frustrating to do something in 3 moves instead of 1! Especially when I am not able to do all 3…

Require password to add new podcast subscription
I want to lock down what my kids can listen. At a minimum I want to prevent adult explicit content from them I would pay the premium fee for this feature.

Surface db field for "mark as played"
Looking in the backup db file, I don't see a way to flag episodes that have been "mark as played". For episodes played in the app directly, playbackDate > 0, but for those the user has just marked they still have -1 values. But the app seems to have a way to distinguish, b/c in "Playback History" those episodes don't show up.
Is there another available field that captures user-marked-played, and if not can it be surfaced in the backup?

Recent episodes list - hide the ones which will be downloaded automatically or were downloaded already
I have subscribed to lots of podcasts; some of those were downloaded already or will be downloaded automatically; I would like to hide those episodes from Recent episodes list

Add insights for podcasters
Both for general listening and for the paid adverts. I would love to be able to get some insights to how many people listen to my podcast, how much of it, which episodes etc. And when I run paid ads it is great to see subscriber numbers going up, but it would be even better to see which episode they listened to before hitting subscribe.

Add custom episode code marking
Function, which allows user to set list of own episode coding, to highlight the series of podcasts. For example "HOBO#12", "SUM#3", or "Ep", "Ep.", "odc." as well as normal S01E10.

Mark newer as played.
You can mark newer episodes from a date as played.

Add a sort feature to the Queue/Errors section
I queue for download more podcasts than I normally have room on my phone. It would be nice to have a sort feature so I can download from that list the oldest podcasts so I'm not mistakenly listening to podcasts out of order.

Long press VOL-/VOL+ when display off would trigger RW/FF
Don't know if it is possible but I suggest that when VOL-/VOL+ is long pressed and display is off then RW/FF would be triggered.
Until recently used a device that had this options in settings but I changed device and it would be nice if PodcastAddict could do it.

Erweiterung Timer im Player
Möglichkeit der Eingabe im Timer-Menü, dass z.B. drei "EInträge" der Playlist ab aktueller Position abgespielt werden.
Am Rande: Warum läuft der Timer weiter (zählt runter), wenn das Abspielen eines Eintrags pausiert wird?

Move the delete all downloaded episodes to the bottom of the menu
I'd really love to see the delete all downloaded episodes option to the bottom of the menu in downloaded episodes screen? I have hit it several times trying to just remove the played episodes.

lock / unlock playlist + section already heard should be better visualized
a) You must introduce the possibility to lock / unlock the playlist (in the audition menu) set by the user to consolidate the audition and avoid involuntary movements due to user error
b) in the playlist the section already heard should be better visualized ... now it is marked under the image but VERY VERY WEAK !!!

RSS Feed: Jump from an item directly to a website
Bei der Darstellung eines RSS Feeds mit den einzelnen Einträgen möchte ich direkt die jeweilige URL der Episode/Item öffnen. Im Moment öffnet sich zuerst eine Detailbeschreibung der Episode. Dort kann ich auf das Bild "klicken", um die URL zu öffnen. Diesen Zwischenschritt möchte ich überspringen.

Podcast Addict + Grover Pro ?
Pourquoi ne pas passer un accord avec Matheus Inacio pour qu'on puisse utiliser conjointement la meilleure appli sur mobile (Podcast Addict) et la meilleure appli sur PC (Grover Pro) ?
A priori, il suffirait de convenir du format de données à mettre sur GDrive ou autre et permettre aux deux applis d'y accèder (bibliothèque, infos de lecture).1 vote -
Customizable buttons on the player
Space for one or two customizable buttons on, for example, the player screen. For doing things like changing the global playback speed or swapping the play order in the playlist (from play in order to play from the top and back for example)
