Customizable buttons on the player
Space for one or two customizable buttons on, for example, the player screen. For doing things like changing the global playback speed or swapping the play order in the playlist (from play in order to play from the top and back for example)

Fast forward/rewind in bookmark screen
When editing bookmarks, to rewind I constantly have to switch to player screen to access the rewind button. Would be nice to have the fast forward/rewind buttons directly in the bookmark screen.

Add .05x playback speed increments
Example 1.05x, 1.15x, 1.25x, etc. would be added to existing speeds.
Often these increments are perfect on certain people's voices, where it's as fast as possible without sounding unnatural

Upon hitting the required skip outro percentage, change the color of the fast forward button.

Add keep up to date toggle on podcast subscription list
Instead of going to each podcast individually and manual toggle the keep up to date, can there be a way to have a toggle box be included on the podcast subscription page to see the keep up to date together?

It would be great to be able to check on a regular basis if new episodes or new podcasts have been publushed on a list of key words
Like today the application checks if new episodes have been published by your preferred podcasts, what about looking for new episodes on a list of key words (subject of interest, people you follow, ...) on all existing podcasts. It's like recording and than re-launching researches

Age filter for podcasts
Some podcasts go back for years. In the extra filters section under each podcast could add filter to not download if over x days, months, or years?

Add options for downloads file naming
Similar ro implement a clear file naming system request I have some podcasts that have no id3 tags and although your app gives the best naming (episode number.mp3) in most cases since I can set a custom name for the podcast where the download folder for the podcast takes that naming for me it would be useful to have the mp3 files when downloaded to have the id as the title of the podcast.
I'm sure this could be added as an option on what pattern to use as the file naming for ex:
Original filenames
Episode title

You will have to go to Settings/Download and press on 'Use Custom filenames' to change the default behavior

Add features to Podcast Addict found in the airr podcast app available only for iPhone
Would like to be able to capture & save data from podcasts in a manner similar to how it's done in the airr podcast app

Use <itunes:title> when season details are displayed.
Enabling season details causes redundancy in the episode list. It is recommended that creators put the title without season/episode info in the <itunes:title> tag. If the tag is present, this is the title that should be displayed when the app itself prepends the S1E1. Thanks!

Bookmarks + Progress Bar
Bookmarks and progress bar are actually totally "disconnected". Add visual flags, arrows, bullets will simplify the "legibility" of bookmarks episode.

Add rewind to radio listening, just like for podcast. My defunct iPod Nano 6th gen did this and I loved it.
I listen to NPR a lot while doing other things, and quite often I want to go back, because I missed something, like what country they're talking about. The iPod Nano 6th Gen. had an FM radio with a 30-sec back button. I haven't been able to replicate that on my phone or other apps, including the NPR app. Please consider adding this feature. And thanks for a great app and your constant efforts to improve it.

Make it harder to inadvertently close the app
Make the close X only work when playback is paused, so it can't accidentally be hit from the lock screen while carrying the phone or when attempting to skip ahead.
