Allow for "refresh regardless of podcast settings"
Hi !
I'm a big fan of the feature implemented from this suggestion which allowed me to pare down the podcasts I refresh daily from 91 to 45 (50% improvement woohoo!).
But the thing is, those podcasts I excluded might still occasionally put up something new on their feeds: bonus content, live show announcements, trailers for new projects from the creators, ...
To make sure I don't miss that, I'd have to go podcast by podcast through the 46 excluded ones to refresh them.
Could there be an option I could use maybe every month or every other month to…3 votesThis is now available in the app

Add speed toggle in main widget
There's a separate 1x1 widget that allows you to toggle the speed, but it would be nice if that function could be added to the widget like you can to the Android auto integration.

Allow pausing using space bar
Many video and audio players allow toggling pause/play using the space bar on the keyboard, would be awesome if this was supported by Podcast Addict as well!

The hide read/unread botton is practically the same. There's no way of telling which one it is. I want to make sure which one I have ( I keep pressing it to be sure my hide read episodes is active)

create a rule or filter to include or exclude items in a podcast for automatic download, and ignore unwanted shows.
I watch the daily shows at the tastytrade podcast. I'd like to be able to set up podcastaddict to ignore some of the shows and automatically download some of the shows, while ignoring the audio-only files, while automatically choosing to download the video podcasts.
It would need to be a wildcard string matching rule or filter because each show, each day, has the same basic name, but with some additional description in the name and title.
Some have the same apparent name but are an audio-only version of the same show.

Add "move to top" to long-press in playlist
In addition to "dequeue", "delete", and "play with external player" it'd be nice to have a way to move a particular item on the playlist directly to the top. When the playlist gets long, dragging to the top can be tricky.

Take podcast lengths from real file when possible, not metadata.
Once a file is downloaded, you KNOW how long it is, and longer longer have to use the feed metadata. Lake Woebegone is ALWAYS 15:00 in the feed. Penn's Sunday School is always 00:00. Once the file is on the device, it should be trivial to see how long the file ACTUALLY is for sure.

Playlist shortcut in player view
In the player view, a tab to quickly view the playlist would simply navigation.

Player's "Settings" sub-menu accessible from the Player's dropdown menu
Currently (v2.22.2), the Player's "Settings" sub-menu is only accessible from PA's main settings menu. It would be convenient\intuitive to have the Player's settings sub-menu also accessible from the Player's dropdown menu.
This could also apply to other "settings" sub-menus; Downloads, Playlist.

skip longpress deletion confirmation
How about an option to skip the deletion confirmation after longpressing the next track button. I have NEVER used the No button. And it is distracting/dangerous when presented in the Car Layout since I must avert my eyes from the road to accurately hit the YES button.

Next version will add an ‘Error’ tab in the download manager screen which will show the list of download failures. This will allow you to easily restart those downloads if you want to

Add to "reading in progress episodes" how much of it you already listened to.

As the developer stated he cannot do anything about because it's the fault of the internal player of the device itself.At the moment I'm handling this as follows: Instead of just pressing "play" to resume listening I look at the podcast addict player page and memorize how much of the podcast I have already listended to. Then, after the player jumps to anywhere when pressing "play" I can go to the time manually where I actually stopped listening.
Unfortunately you can only see how much you have already…

Add silence between podcasts
I love this app!! I use the playlist a lot. I have set most podcasts to skip outro and intro but I would like to have a pause of a few seconds between podcasts so I can gather my thoughts and also so I know it's a new programme. Could you add an option like the one in iTunes, something like 'break between tracks: 5 seconds silence'. Thanks.

Display chapters when playing via car bluetooth
A few podcasts I subscribe to and download have chapters within them, but when playing podcasts in my car via Bluetooth the individual chapter details don't appear on the car player like they do within the built in player.
Could it be possible to enable this somehow as it's most useful seeing the track details and being to skip within the file whilst driving?
Example podcast episodes that include chapters:
Podcast Addict handles and displays these absolutely wonderfully within its internal player and I'm able to navigate throughout the episode using the next track buttons, however when connected…
