Alternative APP Store
Plesse update your APP in androitpit.de. I want to switch from Google Play to Cyanogenmod and an alternative Store but i really need an actual Podcast Addict. Sure i will buy it again. Thank you for your outstandig work.

There have been a couple of articles saying its in the help menus but nothing. Could you please just create a page that provides a description of each.

You can either share a short description of the episode (twitter style), or the full description. If the episode is downloaded you can also share the file. -

I just pushed a new version to fix that issue. It should be live in an hour. Please take some time to update your review once the problem is fixed. Sorry about the mess

add the ability to be able to choose all podcasts you want associated with a particular category at once.
That way a person does not have to click on every podcast individually to pick its categorie(s), which can take forever if you have hundreds of podcasts to sort.

Set the priority of the notification panel widget.
The app PowerAmp has an option to set the priority of the widget in the notification panel. It'd work like that.
Sometimes I find. Myself with new notifications that make the widget go back to the unexpanded version. If we were able to set the priority at high or max this would atop happening.

JJ1 voteYou can already do that. Open a screen displaying some episodes, then in the toolbar or toolbar menu press the Action mode button, then you will be able to select episodes and then an action.

Fix lock screen widget to work with Android Lollipop
The widget does not work when 'Hide sensitive notification content' is set in Lollipop's 'Sound & notification' options.
Google's 'Play Music' widget does work when this option is set.

Regarding the issue I don’t see this setting. I only see “Show/Hide notifications”. Please give more detail about the issue.

Support scheme relative URIs
Some podcasts (http://feeds.ancientfaith.com/GoForthAFR for example) are including schema relative URIs. See https://url.spec.whatwg.org/#concept-scheme-relative-url for an explanation of these.
Podcast Addict doesn't appear to understand these.
1 voteFeedburner just switched all its feeds to this a couple hours ago. A new version of the app is rolling out, but it will require to reset the feeds, or long press on the episodes and select ‘refresh from the RSS feed’’

Edit: Please update to the latest BETA: v3.10 build 569 and let me know what you think of the new Priority setting screen.
You will also find this screen in Settings/Display/PodcastsI will improve the way to set the podcast priority in the next version, but because it makes sense to have multiple podcasts using the same priority I’m not sure a drag and drop list might be doable.
I’ll let you know once the beta is available to get your feedback -
Playlist option: "stop after each title"
(because I sometimes don´t want to hear episodes one after another in a row without a pause, especially while driving my car)
1 voteI will add a new setting in the next version to disable the playlist. In that case you will be able to play a single episode then the app will stop at the end

Add a screen where users can read transcript and use player control simultaneouly
Hi,
I have pruchased you appr and I think you really wrote a good app for podcast.
I mainly use it as an english-learning tool by accessing english learning podcast, ex: esl podcast.But, I have trouble when I want to read the transcript and sometimes jump a few seconds backward for repeat.
In current version, I need to switch to the screen which contains icon for jumping backforward and then switch back for transcript.
Is it possiable to add a screen where users can read transcript and use player control simultaneouly?

In the next version you will be able to do something similar.
In the player screen you will be able to swipe left to replace the episode artwork with the episode show notes.
A first beta should be available later today.

Search should default to whatever settings the user used for the previous search
Every time I search for podcasts it defaults to ALL. But I ALWAYS want audio and NEVER want video. How about defaulting to whatever the user used for the previous search?

Make PA Donate app installable on Android TV
First of all, I love your app. I paid for the donate app, but apparently, it cannot be installed on Android TV. So, I am not able to turn off the ads.
BTW, the PA UI is extremely unfriendly to Android TV (or, I suspect, any non-touch interface). I don't fault you for that (PA is one of the few podcast apps worth its salt that works on Android TV platform), but any improvement you can do would be worth another purchase of the donate app :)
