  1. Sort by number of episodes remaining

    Please implement the ability to sort the contents of the "Podcasts" screen by number of episodes available. This would greatly facilitate the way I build playlists.

  2. Option to speed up silence instead of skipping

    Sometimes the first or last syllables of a word get lost, because they are below the threshold. Overcast on iOS speeds up the playback of quiet passages which I find more pleasing to hear than simply skipping them.

  3. Screensaver when using Chromecast

    Can you please implement a screen saver or album art moving on the TV screen to prevent burn in on a OLED/Plasma TV

  4. Don't rewind on resume

    When you resume playing a podcast after disconnecting and later reconnecting a bluetooth headset, the playback position rewinds a considerable time; sometimes about 30 minutes, sometimes to around the 15 minute mark. Annoying in a 4 hour episode!

    Please open a ticket using the ‘Contact Support’ button in case of a bug.
    Can you please tell me which hardware you are using ? Looks like it might be a device with a MTK65xx CPU which has a severe bug. Those devices cannot resume from Playback using default Android APIs. You will have the same problem with every player app unless they developed a workaround for this specific hardware.

  6. Orderly download limited number of unread episodes per podcast

    Sorry if this has been posted, couldn't find exactly this idea.

    My use case is that I want to steadily listen to all my subscriptions, in publication order. Downloading and queuing on automatic refresh does this nicely.

    The problem is the necessary free space needed. If I fall somewhat behind for a few days, my storage gets filled up pretty quickly.

    I see two possible ways of going about this (and I can't add storage ;-).

    1) Globally download and store up to X GB of unread podcasts (and from all unread, in publication order)
    2) Download at most X…

    It looks like this can be managed by the new Archive mode.
    Set app Settings/Automatic cleanup/Keep at most for 5 episodes for example (globally or per podcast), then enable the archive mode (globally or per podcast). The app will download up to 5 episodes and keep this number until you finally managed to liste to all your episodes.
    Please let me know if this doesn’t answer your use case.

  8. 'Remove ad banner' in menu

    After purchasing, the ad banner no longer appears. However, 'remove ad banner' still appears in the drop down menu.

  11. Delete non favorite chapters

    An option to delete non favorite chapters. This way you could keep downloaded your favorite podcast chapters and easily remove all the non favorite to free the phone memory.

    It looks like you’re referring to episodes by using the word chapters.
    If so, you can already delete any downloaded episode.
    Episode entries are not using any storage space. You can mark the episode as played and then hide it using the toolbar ‘eye’ button

  12. bookmarks import for mp3 audiobooks and videos

    bookmarks import for mp3 audiobooks and videos. Seriously, I use this app as my main video/audiobook/podcast player. I have to tap twice to make a bookmark and it's even impossible to add a bookmark for video(worse, the player pops a note with error). URGENT NEED!

    You can export bookmarks. For this, first add the Bookmarks entry to the navigation sidebar (Settings/Navigation sidebar), then open the navigation sidebar bookm=arks entry and use its option menu to export the bookmarks

  13. Shuffle for specific Podcast

    The shuffle mode in the player plays random episodes from the playlist.

    Unfortunately, this feature does not cover my use case:
    I would like to listen to random episodes of a certain podcast (to fall asleep) without having to empty the playlist first and then manually select episodes and then put them on the playlist.

    You don't have to empty your playlist. If you want to listen to a specific podcast instead of the conentn of your playlist, you just need to use the continuous playback mode option. You will find all the details in the app faqs (Settings/FAQs), then you can enable the shuffle mode when listenbing to this podcast and then disable it later when you resume playing from the main playlist.   14. Podcast list items sometimes don't work.

    After the last two or so updates, if I go into a podcast list screen and back to the list of podcasts (and I think back from the playlist), I can no longer select a podcast. I see the list and can scroll, but tapping and long tapping does nothing. If I kill the app and open it again it works again. I'm on CM 7.2

  15. Ajouter une syncronisation muli-appareil

    Grâce a la nouvelle API de dropbox, cette fonctionnalité ne nécessite plus de serveur.
    Il est alors possible de synchroniser les données sur les podcast lu, la durée d'écoute et les abonnements.

  16. Anyone know how to use intents with Llama?

    Having intents is great, and I use Llama for automation (instead of tasker). But I can't work out how to set it up to trigger an update/download.
    Do I need to use "Broadcast" or "start service" or some other option? Anyone have any ideas?

  18. Make pull to refresh less sensitive

    I love pull to refresh and I don't think disabling it is the right solution. I think what you need to do is make it so people can gracefully avoid a refresh by scrolling back down before letting go, when they realize they're at the top. GasBuddy is a good example of an app that handles this properly. I think you have a great feature here if it's implemented well.

  20. tighten up Chromecast playback

    Playlist does not advance to next track while connected to Chromecast. I think it would be cool if it did. Others reccomended transport buttons etc. I agree.
