Add option to hide a podcast from the main screen
If I'm not really actively listening to a podcast anymore but don't want to lose my listening data, it'd be good to be able to hide it from the main podcast screen without deleting it.

Add a "Mark as played" option to the new episode notification.
Currently the only option on the new episode notification is "Download".
I don't want to listen to every episode so it would be useful to be able to "Mark as played" from the notification.2 votes -
Allow batch commands on podcasts screen
I would like to set custom settings (such as auto update) in batch mode by selecting podcasts I have sorted on the main podcasts screen. Thank you.

Make the new player buttons hideable
2021.13 introduced new buttons in the player, for audio mixing and bookmarks above the player. They take up a lot of space on all 3 views of the player. There should be an option to hide/move these, if I don't want to use them, and gain back valuable screen space on the description and queue, as well as make the UI look less cluttered.

Sort overview of all podcasts according to the last played podcasts
It would be nice if you could add the sorting option "Sort by last played" for the start screen.
So that at the top the podcast is displayed from which an episode is currently running or was last run, the 2nd in the row is then the podcast which was played before and so on. Hope you understand.2 votes -
Delay deletion and removal from playlist until play stops
I find I not infrequently ‘lose control’ of the player: I fall asleep, have to deal with something urgent, have a driving situation, or whatever. When I get back I find that one or more podcasts have played through and been autodeleted, making it very hard to figure out what has and has not been listened to. If cleanup were delayed until after the next explicit interaction, I could just go to the playlist and search around for the point at which I stopped being able to listen.

Remove new episode alert when downloaded
On Android, when I update and see a new episode I want I download it within the alert/notification. I then see 2 alerts, one for the download and still the new episode that I just downloaded. Can the downloading/ new download alert replace the new episode alert?

Crop podcast and generate files after bookmark
I would like to be able to generate an audio file with duration "x", after adding a bookmark to the current podcast. For example, if from 12:15 to 13:30 I find it very interesting, when adding a bookmark, auto-generate a file from 12:15 to 14:15. Previously, in a menu, I entered the audio trim for 2 minutes or "x" minutes. So in a two-hour podcast, there are four interesting moments to remember, I'd bookmark four and get four files. Two hours summarized in eight minutes that are truly important to me.

Add 'Mark played' to Audio/Video playlist popup
On the custom playlist the popup menu has 'Select/Mark played'... But the Audio and Video playlists have 'Select/Remove from playlist' instead.
I find the Mark played option really useful on the custom list and miss having it on Audio/Video playlists for convenience.

set limits on how often a podcast is downloaded.
we already have limits on how many are downloaded at once,
I would like to add limit how many can be automatically download for one podcast for a time period( rolling or not). you can use the history to find out if limit has been hit.like only download 3 episodes per day
or only download 2 per week
10 per month so on.This would allow me to set podcasts that I have a backlog in to high priority without it taking over my feed list so that it only plays that.

allow podcast sorting by size (storage space used)
In the podcast list, it'd be helpful to be able to sort the list by total storage space currently used by downloaded episodes. The option to sort by downloaded episode count isn't really helpful....a podcast with short episodes that had dozens of downloaded episodes could be easily dwarfed by a single episode for a podcast that had 2+ hour episodes. Being able to sort the podcast list this way would allow better visualization of storage space used by various subscribed podcasts and the ability to manage that space in an educated manner.

Queuing podcast episodes based on date or calendar event
When re-listening to a Podcast with other people, - for example one episode per week - the next unread episode should be queued at the next time interval (7 days) or alternatively queuing it based on a calendar event.

Increase the player control sizes on the widget
This is similar but more specific than other suggestions I've seen.
The playback controls on the "Player 4x4" widget are so tiny, they are nigh impossible to use. Please make them a usable size.2 votes -
Allow "inverse" category selection
In the same way you can select "News" and see only podcasts with that category, it would be convenient to see all the podcasts /without/ that category, i.e., the complement of the set. This would allow users to avoid (say) news for a while if they wanted to, and it would also help users assign categories to podcasts which should have them but don't. I imagine it showing up in the category list as something like "-News", or "^News", or "!News", but any way this could be implemented would be appreciated.

Allow selection of which Player view is used as the Opening Screen
I have a premium subscription and I've set my Opening Screen to Player. However, the Player screen has 3 views:
1. The playlist
2. The current episode image and title
3. The episode detailsSetting the Opening Screen to Player opens the app on view #2, but I'd like to open it on view #1.

Add Absolute Published Timestamp option
I've just subscribed to the Bloomberg Market Minute at https://feeds.megaphone.fm/BLM6555889811 which publishes episodes at :20 and :50 past the hour, 24/7.
During New York Stock Exchange opening hours, each report is new and different, but during off-hours, a limited number of reports rotate on repeat.
The first-run times of the various repeated reports are known entities (weekday overnights, for example, are new at 12:20a, 12:50a and 1:20a ET, then those three reports rotate on repeat in those :20 and :50 slots until 4:20a).
Rather than the current Elapsed Time Display option that tells me how long ago the episodes were…

Make filtered episodes Hidden instead
Might we have the option to have filtered episodes visible but greyed out, so that if we, for some reason, need something we normally choose to filter out, we can easily retrieve it without deleting filters and resetting feeds?
This would make the filtered episodes normally hidden, but easy to retrieve, perhaps with options to have hidden eps normally downloaded, or downloadable on demand.

Have a command to dequeue played episodes
I've recently turned off "Automatic Dequeue" for the Playlist because I occasionally fall asleep without turning on Sleep Mode and end up accidentally playing a bunch of episodes. But now I am ending up with an ever-growing number of played episodes at the "top" of the playlist over time. It would be great to have a single command I can select that dequeues all played episodes, or all episodes before the current episode (either option would work for me).
