You can go into settings/automatic cleanup and select ‘keep at most’ 1 Downloaded episode. That way the app will only download the lastest episode

Fix A Bug
Sometimes after downloading a podcast like nosleep i get about 10 seconds of nosleeps podcast then an hour of alice isnt dead. Sort of like the podcast was hijacked

Put in a function to delete podcast s with a specific time left at the end. Podcasts normally have add at the end that I never listen to.

YThe app already has a rewind button in the player screen and you can select the duration of the skip.I’m sorry but I don’t understand the last request. A podcast is a RSS feed. If it doesn’t have a RSS feed, then you cannot subscribe to it (even if the files are available on a website)

Each podcast is hosted on its own server so this isn’t possible -
Time stamps
I often hear a intresting part of a podcast that i would like to go back and review later. Some way to mark the time would be incredibly helpful.
1 voteYou can do this by creating a bookmark from the player or episode screen.
Press on the bookmark button to edit/add/remove bookmarks, long press on it to quickly create a new one -

1 voteThe app only uses cpu/battery when listening to a podcast with audio effects enabled. In that case the only way to lower the battery usage would be to disable the audio effects.

Add a "Favorite Episodes" filter
I have a couple podcasts that have been going on for years (aka huge backlog) where I've favorited episodes. It would be nice to quickly see favorited episodes from the episodes screen, similar to hiding/showing played episodes.

Make back button always step up to: Description>Ep list>Show list
When I've switched from PA to other programs and return, I usually want to return to browsing the show's episode list or as a next step, select a different show. It seems half the time I hit the BACK button, it leaves the program so I have to switch back and manually select PODCASTS from the main menu at left. Thank you sir!
1 votePressing on the back button always goes back to the previous screen until you reach the opening screen. Once there pressing on the back button will exit the app. If you open the app from a widget or from the player notification the opening screen is the player screen

Importing backup data problem
I recently did a factory reset on my phone. I backed up all my podcasts and emailed the file to myself. I then downloaded the file to my phone. I can find the file but I am unable to choose where I import the file from in PA. I try to move the file from my phone but it only gives me the option to email it, Dropbox, ect.

To restore a backup file you need to go into the app Settings/Backup & restore, then press restore and elect the backup file you want to restore.

Allow phone arrow button to step back.
New updates seem to have removed the ability to use the phones back arrow to navigate back a page or more. When I play a podcast and use the back arrow it minimizes the app instead of going back to the playlist of episodes, like it used to.

Pressing on the back button always returns to the previous screen. Then once you reach the app opening screen it exit the app UI.
If you open the app from a widget or from the notification, the opening screen is the player screen. So pressing back from that screen will exit the app -
Seeing all eps from "Podcasts" screen
Hi! There are some podcasts that I manually download, as I'm catching up and there are too many to download at once. Currently, for me to manually download, I need to go to the "podcast" screen and search the podcast to see all the existing eps. What I would like, would be to see all episodes from my main "podcast" screen w/o having to search. Currently I can only see downloaded and listened to episodes. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

When pressing on a podcats from the main screen the app shows every episode available.

Option to Delete downloaded file via Player Screen
I've always wanted to be able to delete a downloaded file from the player screen when I've finished listening to the episode. Unless I'm missing something, I have to navigate back to the episode listing--sometimes 3 or 4 clicks? (I suppose I could go directly to the downloaded episodes panel, too.)
1 voteYou can enable automatic deletion of played episodes in settings/automatic cleanup. You can also long press on the previous/next episodes button to delete the current episode while skipping to the previous/next one

Open source podcast addict
Hello,
I would suggest to open up the source code to something like github or similar.
I would like to contribute to the development and I feel there would be a lot of others interested. As the app is free I don't see any disadvantages to doing it and development, bug fixing and improvements and new features would get added way quicker.
Obvious you would manage the pull requests and keep any revenue of the donate app.
In general I think it would strengthen the community around the app and make it interesting to a lot more people .

Playlist length
Not a vital feature, but it would be cool to be able to see the length of my current playlist. For example, if I have ten episodes lined up, what's the total length of those podcasts.

Quick delete episode button
Just a trash button on each episode, even before open it, on same place of "play, download, etc" no more hold button to open menu, or click to mark. Just click and delete,
