Allow podcasts to play forward or backwards so if I start at 1 on the bottom it will play upward instead of having to tap back arrow at the
I generally listen to the first episode and have to work my way back . It would be great to select the direction of the automatic play all.

By default it plays the next episode in the list once the current one ends (plays the one bellow). You can enable Play from top in Settings/Playlists if you want the app to always switch to the first episode of the list when the current one ends.

Enable users to create drag and drop episode playlist that plays episodes in the order the user specifies.
The app would be even more useful if we were able to create a personalized playlist by dragging and dropping episodes to play in a specific order. Currently, when a podcast releases all episodes on the same day, I cannot get them to play in order, whether I set it to load "newest first" or "oldest first." If I could create my own playlist, I could order them chonologically, based on episode number rather than release date. And I could go from one specific podcast to another in that playlist without having to reset my podcast priority list. For example,…
1 voteYou can already do this by opening the playback queue and the n drag and dropping episodes. Make sure the current sorting mode is Manual in order to display the drag and drop handle.

To make all the episodes' descriptions readable e.g. at the moment one cannot read the titles of the podcast "Le monde selon Michel Onfray"
Many other podcasts have this problem.

Listen to the podcast via car bluetooth
Functionality to listen to the podcast via my car blietooth while I commute everyday to work.
1 voteYou can already listen to podcasts using any headset, connected BT receiver you want to.
Make sure to connect your phone to the car BT receiver and then press play. The device built-in player, will then play on the connected receiver -
Allow an episode to be marked for deletion when you finish it.
I don't want to turn on automatic cleanup, but there are episodes that I don't want to have to find and delete when I finish them (especially when it's a show with a lot of episodes). Hope that makes sense.

You can also use the trash feature for a chance to restore automatically deleted episodes. -

Add last played list
When you fall asleep while listening to a podcast or forget to pause when you take your headphones out, your phone will automatically go through part of your playlist before you realize it. It becomes difficult to remember what was played while you weren't listening. This particularly true if you let the app auto add podcasts to your playlists as you migh not always be fully aware of whats up next. It would be nice to be able to just click a button and see what the last ten podcasts I listen to was. Or sourt marked played by date…
1 voteYou can go into Setitngs/Sliding menu and add the Playback history entry to the navigation sidebar to see the latest episodes you listened to.
Also you can use he Sleep timer to prevent this from happening -
Different sort criteria for different playlists
I have multiple PodCasts to follow - some of them I want to listen in chronological order, and some of them in alphabetic order. However, the current software behavior is that if I change the sorting criteria, all playlists are changed to that sorting order. Could you make this setting customizable to each list?
1 votePlease go into Settings/Display/Podcast and then enable Custom sorting. That way every screen will have its own sorting

1 voteSorry but you can only hide an episode by marking it as played. This information isn’t shared with anyone, so it doesn’t change the podcast statistics.

Anyhow possible to change the annoying yellow background to fultransparent?
As the widget, it would be great to be able change the yellow square to fully transparent. I mean if doesn't have an album pic. Thx!

Have the internal player send the album art iver Bluetooth so it is displayed on the receiving unit, ie a car stereo
Currently when connecting to a car stereo, the app does not transmit the album art over Bluetooth to display on the head unit. I have been able to have this functionality by playing podcasts via Google Play, but it'd be nice to have the internal player do it
1 voteAre you sure Google Music is displaying podcast artwork?
It usually works for music because the BT receiveer has a small database of album covers, but most (if not all) BT receiver don’t use the artwork provided by the app metadata.
Unfortunately there’s nothing I can do about that -
use default browser for show note links
I would much rather have show note links open in my default browser rather than an in-app browser
1 voteLinks are opened using the device default web browser. If something opens in Podcast Addict, then it looks like Podcast Addict has been made the default browser for those urls.
You can go into the device Settings/Applications/Podcast Addict screen and press on clear default actions to reset this -

Provide a way to remember which episodes were played when devices are switched
Whenever I get a new device, it becomes a pain to identify the episodes already listened to on the earlier device. A login and some back up would help in these transitions

2 Different playlists using the same directory / set of files.
I have created 2 different playlists. One for me and my wife pointing to the same folder. When I listen to my stuff on that playlist and stop listening to it and when she then uses my phone later on and goes onto her playlist, it starts playing at my last position and not on hers and vice versa.
Is there a possible workaround for this?
1 voteSorry but this won’t work. You need to use 2 seperate devices, otherwise the app has a unique database and only keep track of a unique playabck progress by episode

Episode description in playlist's context menu
I often find myself in the context of the playlist while listening. Another episode of a podcast catches my attention and I quickly want to see its meta information (description etc.). Currently this cannot be done, and I have to switch to thr podcasts overview or download section...
