Have an option to show only unplayed episodes in custom playlists.
When I go to custom playlist it shows both played and unplayed episodes. Usually I'm only interested in unplayed episodes. It would be nice to have the eye icon in order to show only unplayed episodes.

You can go into the app Settings/Notifications/Player screen to add the rewind button to the player notification

Help with storage issues?
I have my podcasts saved to an SD card.
I have deleted the extra artwork in options.
I have checked to make sure there's no 'hidden episodes' but even if there were, it would be stored on the SD card.
So, why, then does this app take up 3.7 GB of internal storage?
I can't figure out why it's taking up so much space. Is there any way to reduce this? Is this a bug? After reading the other posts, it seems like I'm doing everything I need to...1 voteThe app cannot use internal memory if you selected the SD card for storage

1 voteSorry I cannot help you with that. There’s no popup in the app, especially not for the weather. The app just shows a small ad banner at the bottom of the screen and that’s it

Please stop the double-notifications when downloading new episodes.
When Podcast Addict downloads new episodes, it pops two notifications, one for the download success and one for the episode description. Only one is needed.
1 voteThe app can show a notification for new episodes, during episode downlaod and when the download is completed. You can select which notification to show/hide in the app Settings/Notifications

Add a play next in playlist option
Just an option to select a podcast and set it up in the playlist as next

You can checnge in Settings/Playlist where the episode should be added (top of the list, bottom, after the current one) -
Audible Podcasts in Podcast Addict
Hi, is it possible to get the Audible podcasts with an existing valid Audible account into Podcast Addict? It would be awesome to have only one app for all podcasts.
1 voteIf you can download those files on your device using the Audible app and if they can be played with the device built-in player, then you’ll be able to play them from Podcast Addict. To do so, press on the main screen + button to add a new podcast, then select Virtual podcast / audio book and select the folder containing those files

Not moving the files would create orphan files which means that those files will keep using a lot of space. Because of that the use of a file explorer app will be required to delte those files

Possibilité de "bypass" à la carte du téléchargement en wifi seulement
J'utilise l'option "téléchargement en wifi seulement", mais parfois, j'aimerais pouvoir télécharger un seul épisode en mode LTE ou 4g. Quand je clique pour écouter un épisode non téléchargé, on me dit que je ne peux pas et que je dois changer la configuration dans les réglages. Ce serait bien s'il y avait plutôt l'option "télécharger seulement cet épisode - en mode LTE ou 4g" sans avoir chaque fois à modifier les réglages. Quand on modifie effectivement les réglages (parce qu'on est en voiture et qu'on veut vraiment écouter l'épisode,, par exemple, l'app se met à tout télécharger les épisodes en…
1 voteTu peux déjà faire cela en appuyant sur le bouton de téléchargement de l’épisode. L’app te demandera alors si tu souhaite ignorer les réglages et le télécharger via 4G

Blue thoothed in my car should pause instead of stop for incoming call
When blue toothed in my car and I get a phone call the podcast stops instead of pauses so I have to reach for the play button while I am driving to continue. Google Play stops for the call and then picks up where it left off after the call which is great for auto stops
1 voteWhen an app asks for an indeterminate audio focus, then playback stops. This is the behavior recommended by Google so audio apps can play nice with each others
The Google Music app implements the same behavior.
Are you sure this isn’t the device killing Podcast Addict after playabck has been paused for a while?

I can't make a custom playlist based on anything other than the "Arts", "Comedy, "Society & Culture", and "TV & Film" tags. How to fix?
I created a custom tag for a select few pods I want to listen to in a separate playlist, tagged them, and can still ONLY access the four "default" tags in the custom playlist. AND I can't CLEAR that custom playlist. It's super annoying and is making me want to throw my phone across the room. Please help.

You can add new categories, link them to some podcasts and you’ll then be able to select them in the Custom playlist tab. Make sure however that you have some eligible episodes first (unplayed episodes by default)

Start queued podcast with "ok google" command.
It'd be really cool to say "OK Google start Podcast Addict" and have it open the player screen and start playing the podcast I left off at.
1 voteYou can already do that. You can either start playing a specific podcast (Ok Google, listen to X on Podcast Addict) or resume playback by saying Ok Google listen to Podcast Addict . Feel free to send me an email if you have any question (Settings/Feedback)

Filter or verify episode publication dates.
Some episodes are published with the incorrect date, off by a month or have the day month swapped. This often causes them to stick to the top of my list of recent releases until I unsubscribe.
1 voteSorry but this is the podcast author responsability to provide a correct publication date.
There’s no way to now if the provided date is correct or not as some podcasts have very old publication dates -

Any ideas ? The media company explains it works for other PodCast players.1 voteA broken RSS feed means tha tthe podcast author made a mistake and tha ttheir RSS feed isn’t compliant with RSS specs.
Only the podcast author can fix this.Please send me an email with the exact RSS feed url so I can check it.
To do this, long press on the podcast on the app main screen, then select Copy to clipboard and paste the result in an email (Settings/Feedback/Send email)

move the download button further from the scroll bar
Everytime I click download on the right I end up half way down the page, and I can't make my thumbs any smaller...
1 voteIt looks like you enabled the fast scroll and that the device listview component isn’t handling the fast scroll hit zone properly.
The only workaournd here is to disable the fast scroll in Settings/Display -
Allow to not show podcast image on lockscreen.
I think it is annoying that the podcasts change the background of the lockscreen
