Show size of each episodes all the time
I know you say it shows the size from rss, but in most cases it does not show size. There are other podcast apps that shows size of each episodes from every podcasts, even if size is not in rss.
I see size from a podcast in other apps. But when I check the same podcast on PA, it does not show the size. Please add this feature.
1 voteThe app shows the information provided by the RSS feeds you subscribed to. When the information isn’t provided it then asks the podcast server for the file size. If the podcast server isn’t properly set up then it might fall to.deliver this information

Continuous playback in ascending order
Hi this would be really useful when starting new podcasts, sometimes I just want to listen to them from oldest-newest yet continuous playback only seems to go from newest-oldest. Could you please add this? Thank you.

Move play/download icon in list view.
I would like the play/download episode button in list view to be moved further away from the edge. This is to avoid accidentally pressing the scroll/slider at the edge. For me it is just empty space there.
1 voteIt looks like you enabled the fast scrolling in Settings/Display and that the device is failing to properly handle the hit zont in the listview component.
In that case the only solution is to disable the fast scroll mode -
Bug: episodes being deleted once fully played
I don't have the auto-cleanup option enabled, but downloaded episodes are being deleted once fully played.
That is a pain because I like to listen to podcasts to fall asleep. The next day, I would like to resume from where I stopped listening, but now the episode is gone...

Regarding the issue it looks like you pressed on the toolbar ‘eye’ button to hide played content.
Press once more to toggle the display and show every episode

Something wrong has happened after last update - my playlist episodes one by one getting marked as read and deleted by themselves, without me playing them anywhere!!!!
I'm sure no bluetooth speakers are connected, no autoplayback on headphone/bt connect, I didn't touch settings for years and used it daily without problems.
I need a "log" feature to be able to see playback progress per episode with ability to revert to certain point in time.

Keeping the background picture of the episode once it's listened while keeping the green tick.
For each finished episode: Replace the background pic of a podcast with the background pic of the episode for all the episodes you've already listened to.

volume jumps to max when in player window and selecting the three dot menu on the top right>equaliser
Opening the equaliser from the player page makes volume jump to max, overrides any phone volume command, have to turn equaliser off then back on again for the phone volume control to work.
Using a Motorola G5.

1 voteSorry but the app doesn’t control the volume. The equalizer screen is part of your device ROM. What you describe looks like for some reasons the device manufacturer added this behavior in their equalizer screen. Sorry but there’s nothing I can do to fix this

Move download/play button to the left side of the episode card
Or remove the ability to jump scroll (or alternatively trigger it with a double tap gesture). Almost every time I try to play or download an episode from the list I end up jump scrolling down the episode list because the vertical scroll bar is so close to the play/download button.

Correctly parse RSS feeds with no URL Encoding.
I sometimes get 404 errors on some RSS feeds as the URLs are not correctly encoded. I know that we can argue that it is the responsibility of the feed provider, but when I import the same feed into other RSS feed readers, it correctly parses the audio file path.
Some simple logic possible would be if the URL contains a space, then urlencode.
Example feed: https://www.defcon.org/podcast/defcon-10-audio.rss
1 voteUnfortunately this doesn’t work because there are other mistakes in the url like for exmaple there are 2 spaces after the last ‘-’ so

Create an online backup
This would be great for paid customers.... To have it sycned seamlessly with an account in the cloud. My phone just bit the dust suddenly and ive lost everrrryyyyything :( I assumed it was already syncing with somewhere in the internet since I bought the app. Anyway that'd be great! Thanks! That way when you migrate devices, you don't have to do manual work to boot from a backup

don't put audio books in the recycle bin
hello there and thank you for your great app I use it everyday.
the only problem I have with it, is the automatic cleanup part.
when you set the automatic cleanup for a certain period of time it cleans every played episode, the problem is I have imported lots of audiobooks into the program so I already have all of those files on my phone and I don't want them to be deleted I just want them to be organised in the app.
so I would appreciate if you add a feature that we can exclude the audio books from…1 voteYou can disable automatic deletion per podcast. To do so, long press on the podcast in the app main screen, select Custom settings and then override the automatic cleanup settings to disable the automatic deletion. I’m sorry but I don’t understand what you mean by that.
The app keeps playing the episode until it receives a stop command or until the connection stop while streaming or until another app asks for audio focus. Please send me an email with more detail so I can understand what you’re asking for (Settings/Feedback)

Sorry but Mixcloud doesn’t support / offer RSS feeds
Therefore your content can only be listened from the Mixcloud app -
Podcast specific settings
By default, the settings set in the settings menu are applied to all podcast, and are the default settings.
But when specified by the user individual podcast can have their individual options overridden. Things such as sorting order

If you want every podcast to have its own sorting you can go into the app Settings/Displayand enable custom sorting -
Enable starting a podcast a couple of seconds in
Some podcasts have long annoying intros that I always skip. It would be nice to have the possibility to for each podcast define the starting position. So podcast A starts its episodes from 0:00 but podcast B starts 10 seconds in.
Love the app otherwise, keep up the great work!1 voteYou can alsready do this by opening the podcast custom settings and the overriding the player settings for that podcast to skip the intro. Keep favourites list separated from episode deletion
Allow keeping a favorites list that is separated from whether the episodes have been downloaded or deleted.
1 voteThis is already the case. Unless you unsubscribe from a podcast, the app keeps favorites episodes. Just make sure you’re not hidding played content by pressing on the toolbar ‘eye’ button. Feel free to send me an email if you have any question (Settings/feedback)

Be able to create new playlists instead of having just the one.
For example, one for sports, one for stories, and one for politics.
