  1. Read show notes (after playing an episode) on my laptop using a chrome extention

    I mainly use podcast addict in the car. So I never read the notes added to a podcast.
    I would like to be able to read show notes (after playing an episode) on my laptop using a chrome extention or something.

    If there would be an API to get recently played episodes, the rest can be coded by me or someone else.

  2. I suggest you enhance the "mark all as unplayed"

    There have been a few times that I want to reset my listening history on a podcast. While "mark all as unplayed" mostly works, I'm left with episodes marked with partial progress. Idk if it should be a default or a checkbox or a different function, but it would be nice to have a way to set all the partial episodes back to zero for easier autoplaying/queuing etc

  3. Show time left to complete the download

    When I'm downloading a episode of a podcast, the time left to complete the download is not showed, this is very bad, cause I don't have how estimate how much time it will take.

  4. Quickly update the 'auto download' settings of multiple podcasts.

    I set about 30 of my 70 podcast subscriptions to auto download, it is very boring during set up to have to individually set the download settings for each one. There should be a way to select multiple podcasts and set them to auto-download (while leaving the rest of them as do not auto download).

    This is mostly just a problem during initial set up but it took a long time, whereas other podcast players make this very easy.

  6. Add option to continuously play next episode, or not, for each podcast.

    Right now, you can continuously play episodes or not. Change this setting from being app-wide to individual podcasts so that the 1 1/2 minute-long podcast I listen to can play from episode to episode for a long period of time without me messing with it, but a longer podcast will only play the current episode and then stop until I press the play button for the next one.

  7. Replay / CatchUp Feature

    The idea is to get to download an episode of a feed, starting from the oldest entry, every day (or week, what, choose your period). This is for listinening to a finished/concluded series (like 50 Things That Made The Modern Economy or The Butterfly Effect) or catching up to a newly discovered podcast within a set period without having to download every episode.

    So basically just a "Download n entries from feed x every m interval starting from the first (or y-th entry)" function.

  8. A way to block certain words from appearing in your search results (under episodes)

    Usually we're able to do that online by simple adding a ''-'' before the word we don't want to see but on PA this doesn't work. I get so many search results on the episodes section of search from podcasts I do not care about and because I can't block the podcast, my search results are not that good.

  9. Sort podcasts by memory density (Mb/min)

    At times I fill up the storage available in my device. At the moment I go to Downloaded Episodes and sort by file size.
    I would like to maximise the amount of space I clear up in the minimum amount of time.
    As a general rule longer episodes lead to larger file sizes, so a simple file-size sort doesn't necessarily identify the memory hogs.
    I'd like to be able to sort by memory density (i.e. Mb/min), which would allow me to efficiently listen to my podcasts to make space on my device.

  11. Live statistics

    Currently statistics are calculated when a podcast ends. This works fine for a rough estimate of stats but it's not super accurate when listening to a long podcast over multiple days.

    For example. If I'm listening to a two hour podcast that I listen to 90% of it, then pause and finish it first thing the next morning, the statistics section shows that I listened to nothing yesterday and two hours today.

    Not a huge deal but it'd be cool if the statistics were more accurate.

    Thanks for the hard work. still by far the best podcast app around.

  12. Separate "resume on connection": one for Bluetooth and the other for Wired devices

    I'd like 2 separate options for "resume on connection". One for Wired and the other for Bluetooth devices. I exclusively listen to podcasts from a Bluetooth speaker and music with a wired headphones. So I don't want Addict to start playing when I plug in my wired headphones

  13. Create several playlists or virtual subscriptions using filters from one podcast feed.

    Allow the user to create separate playlists (or "virtual subscriptions" ) from one subscribed-to podcast using filters. Some podcasters (Mike Bennett, I'm looking at you here) interleave their serialised stories in the same feed - while it's all good, I want to finish one story before I start another!

  14. Run command after downloads are completed

    Normally at night wifi is disabled. At the morning Tasker enables wifi automatically. I want to update my Podcasts at night. I can enable it using Tasker at a specific time, but i dont know how long it takes to download all New episodes. It would be a good idea if i could run a command when all downloads are done.

  15. Move selected list Trash can icon

    When selecting episodes from the Playlist the Trash Can icon appears next to the icon for the Menu of actions. It is too easy to mistakenly tap the Trash Can when intending to tap the Menu. All it takes is tiny bump in the road at the wrong moment. ;-( If the Trash Can icon were to the left of the episode count it would be safer.

    Tu peux ajouter n’importe quel podcast dans l’app via son flux RSS.
    Par contr je ne vois pas de flux RSS usr leur site. N’hesites pas a les contacter pour savoir s’ils fournissent des podcasts.

  18. Löschen nach x mal und nicht nach nur einmal vollständig abspielen

    In den Optionen kann eingestellt werden dass ein Podcast gelöscht wird wenn er einmal vollständig abgespielt wurde dies bitte ändern in benutzerdefiniert z.b. löschen erst nach zweimal oder dreimal vollständig anhören danke

  19. Track new and finished podcasts

    Add the option to export podcast data, such as when you started/finished a podcast, or even just a listing of how many podcasts you have left to listen to in a feed. I would like to track incoming and outgoing podcasts.

  20. Text rss feeds "playing"

    Some rss feeds are just html links not mp3 links (news, articles, blogs). It would be great if:
    -"Play" button was available: pressing Play should start web page and mark podcast as played
    or
    -at least "Visit web page" would mark podcast as played
