  1. Buttons on episodes

    On the right side of an episode, the Drop down menu and Download buttons are very Close. Too easy to accidentally Trigger a download that's not wanted.

  2. Die Aktualisierungszeit erweitern

    Bisher nur max nach 24 Stunden möglich. Meine Podcasts gibt es nur einmal pro Woche. Bisher muß ich deshalb immer manuell aktualisieren, es wäre schön wenn da auch ein längerer Zeitraum vorhanden wäre.

  4. Faster radio stations

    Could radio stations load faster with the internal player? When opening with external (like VLC) starts instantly but with internal takes until 10 seconds or more. Thanks!

    Internal player means that the device built-in media player service is in charge of the playback. Unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do to improve this.
    The buffering time will be the same with every app relying on the device player. Apps using their own player engine like VLC might have a different behavior

  7. [BUG] Podcast restart playing once total time changed

    (I don't know why but) some podcasts do not get the total play time once they start playing (i.e., total time = 0:00:00) but after several minutes. Very annoying, once total time changed, the podcast restart playing from start!

    This causes android to accuses Podcast Addict of high battery usage

  9. Add custom podcast description

    For example, I listen to two hour long mixes, don't love em all but there's often some with tracks I especially love. So rather than simply favoriting the entire podcast I can favorite and add a custom descriptor so I can easily ID it in future

  10. Option to group downloaded episodes at the top when viewing by "All"

    I'd like to be able to review the whole episode list and still be able to quickly and easily find my downloaded episodes.

  13. search all subscribed podcasts

    I would like to search for individual podcasts from within my subscribed (home screen). For example, I have 12 podcast subscriptions for a category but I want to find a specific topic. Right now, I can only search from within each subscription.

  14. Player follows Playlist context

    use case: I play an episode from the general playlist (left most). Then I switch to the right most playlist (with a selected custom filter category) and want the player to play the top most episode of this list as the next one.

    You can enable Settings/Playlist/Play from top if you want the app to skip the next episode at the top of the playlist after the current one ends

  16. Create playlists from downloaded content

    I see that we can create a Custom playlist now, which is great. But the custom playlist shows every available episode from a podcast. I would like to be able to create a custom playlist with only downloaded content. I don't listen to anything that's not downloaded, so I can't use the custom playlist feature like I want to.

  18. Keeping track of what I play through Alexa

    Prefer not to play podcasts through my phone when I am home. I find myself looking at whats new in Podcast Addict and asking Alexa to play it. Anyway to have a button to mark it as played on the App even though I did not play it on the App?

    You can mark any episode as played manually by either long pressing on it or by pressing on the mark play toolbar button in the episode description screen.

  19. Set playback speed for each podcast

    I dont hear Podcast in normal playback speed, but i need to change it when i hear episodes from different Podcasts. Sometimes because of different languages and sometimes because the speakers are still faster then others. It would be great if i could set up a playback speed for only this specific Podcast. Or a global playback speed that is used if there is no podcast-specific speed.
