Set playback speed for each podcast
I dont hear Podcast in normal playback speed, but i need to change it when i hear episodes from different Podcasts. Sometimes because of different languages and sometimes because the speakers are still faster then others. It would be great if i could set up a playback speed for only this specific Podcast. Or a global playback speed that is used if there is no podcast-specific speed.
1 voteYou can set the default speed to be used in Settings/Player/Audio. Then you can change it from the player screen toolbar in which case it only changes the speed for the current podcast

Start with a specific chapter or time
Especially at Podcasts with short episodes when i hear a lot of episodes successively its annoying when you hear the intro or outro every few minutes. Offen they have the same length for each Episode. It would be great if could Start the playback with a specific chapters - lets say the second chapter, if the first is the intro - or a specific time if there are no chapters. When the intro is 20sec long Start after 20sec. The same at the End. Play all except the last chapter or the last two chapters or omitting the last 20sec.

Our back end tech guy changed our domain name away from WordPress, can you add this RSS rather than the old one, sorry for the inconvenience

Go to previous screen
When I press the back button inside the app, half the time it minimizes it instead of going to the previous screen. Please have it go back to the previous screen.
1 votePressing on the back button returns to the previous screen until the opening screen is reached. Then pressing back again will leave the app.
If you open the open on the player screen from a widget or the notification, then the opening screen is the player screen and pressing back will exit that screen -
Add an option for skipping a preset time
Many podcasts start with the hosts just babbling. It would be nice to be able to skip the first minute or some other preset time.

Android auto menu
Everytime a podcast ends and I use the menu to select a new episode or podcast, it's says "no items" and you have to get out of the app and go back in for the menu to have all my stuff. I honestly don't know if it's podcast addict or Android auto but to have the menu work every time would be good.

Add an option to set the default screen to the Player while a podcast is in progress.
I find myself going to the Player screen over and over as I unlock the screen to get to the back "button." Most of the time it's on the episode screen (I don't know if that's the right term) rather than on the Player where I left it.
1 voteYou can replace the app launcher icon by a widget called Podcast Addict shortcut which allows you to select the opening screen

Display only subscriptions on the Podcasts page by default
My feed in the app seems to display every podcast I've ever visited, rather than just my subscriptions. This means I can't shop around for new podcasts without completely cluttering up my feed. What does subscription even mean, if any podcast I even glance at gets first priority on my attention? I couldn't find a setting anywhere to turn this off.

Turn off screen display when casting
Please allow us to turn off the screen (or greatly minimize material displayed) when casting an audio podcast to a chromecast. The current screen display is distracting and may cause burn in
1 voteYou can turn off your screen when casting. This has no effect on the Chromecast as the Chromecast handles the playback on its own

Improve home screen functionality
Once paused on the android home screen, control disappears when screen locks. It would be good to be able to access the full app without having to unlock the android home screen and re-access Podcastaddict.

Play all files in a folder without subscription
would be great i could play all files that are saved in a foldersync ever if they are not downloaded with a subscripted podcast. I can do this with a normal player but some key features that are very useful for listening Podcasts are very complicated to use (to reach very deep in the menu, e.g. playback speed). All files in the folder could be display as a new "podcast" without any information
1 voteYou can do this by adding this podcast as a Virtual podcast in the app.
To do so, press on the toolbar + button, select Virtual/Audiobook podcast and then select the folder.

Resize artwork by default
Currently it's not the default setting.

You can go into the app Settings/Notifications/Player to add more controls to the notification
