Add customizable saveable playlists.
I wish to suggest you add the ability to create multiple playlists and be able to save them for future use. For instance, I listen to The Thrilling Adventure Hour, but modify the play order for specific segements. I would like to be able to set up a playlist of all TAH Sparks Nevada episodes and one of all Beyond Belief epdisodes. Thanks for your consideration gals and guys and other lifeforms!
You can already do what you’re asking.
If you only want to play the episodes of a specific podcast, please go into the podcast episodes list screen and press on an episode play button. The app will then create a temporary playlist with all the episodes of that podcast.
You can also use the playlist Custom tab to select a category and listen to its episodes. You can edit existing categories or create new ones.
Version 2020.2 allows you to set a filter for each category to only show specific episodes of the category based on their status (played, downloaded, favorites), publication date, …
Feel free to send me an email if you have any question (Settings/Feedback/Email)
Thanks

If the app could play and save .m3u files, I think this good suggestion would be fulfilled.
In my case, I want to create some thematic playlist. But they could have mixed audios or videos from various podcasts.

My proposal would be to be able to define a playlist sorting order on criteria that you want.
For example:
- start by the recent episodes from the "News" category
- then go to "Favourite podcasts" category and play according to remaining time
- then go to the oldest episodes from the category "Podcasts that their owner removes old episodes from their website"
- then play the Physics podcast in alphabetical order
- then play the Phylosophy channel in the duration orderThis automatic list should be triggered whenever the playlist is or becomes empty.
FYI, Beyond Pod has had this feature for a long time, very nicely implemented.
As such, categories would be more useful, as I suggested in this other comment: https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/13515495-should-be-able-to-perfom-operations-on-all-podcast

I agree, this would be a very useful addition. I use the app for 8 to 10 hours per day while I am working, and it would be useful to set-up different lists so I could swap depending on my mood.

Having the ability to build multiple playlists would allow differentiating between moods. Science, Character stories, Tech news, comedy... The next time you return to Podcast Addict, your mood might want to pick up on a different topic without rebuilding a new playlist from scratch..
Thanks for considering it!
