Auto Backup the subscriptions list (OPML) to Dropbox or Google Drive
I accidently format my phone and I lost all my subscriptions, because the (OPML) was on the phone also, so it would be grate to have auto backup feature integrated with google drive or dropbox to automate this task every month or every time I added new channel.
Edit: Delivered in v3.22.
The future version will allow you to enable an automatic backup of the subscriptions (OPML file) every time the subscriptions are updated.
If you select a backup folder synced with Drive or Dropbox, you should get your files in the cloud automatically.

Can you provide an example of backup folder synced with Dropbox? From https://podcastaddict.com/faq/20 seems we can sign in with our Google Drive account but not Dropbox, does it can be added?
"You need to use an app that synchronizes the content of some folders with your Dropbox or Drive account. Then you can have your automatic backups stored in that folder"
If we need to install a tierce app to sync content between phone and cloud, the original ask is not really answered.

Can you please provide an example of which folder I can select on Android to do this?
I do not know of any directories in /internal shared storage/Android/data/..... that will do this -

It would be nice to include on this page: https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/326125-how-can-i-backup-my-subscription-data -

Xavier, I believe the request here is to automatically backup to a cloud drive so that it isn't necessary to use a product like foldersync to get it into a cloud service. This would be very helpful -- Podcast Adict is one of the last apps I have that doesn't offer some form of automated cloud backup for the full configuration. Thank you for your consideration.

Maybe I'm missing something but wouldn't it be better if the same filename was used every time and overwritten with new backups? Then you could have podcast addict auto import new opml each time it's started?

If it were an option, I would have a full backup sent to Google Drive every middle of the night. The downside of having such a feature rich app is if you do crash somehow there is a ton of work getting set up again. Bc I misunderstood "full backup" to include all the audio files as well, it recently had to redo 50 podcasts worth of custom settings and read/unread episodes, plus all the general settings, from a slightly outdated opml. Not fun. If auto-cloud is too much maybe auto-sd card?
