Keep favorites/playback history regardless of subscription
There have been a few podcasts that I've really liked episodes of add have favorited (maybe bc of a guest or topic), but haven't wanted to continue listening for whatever reason and have unsubscribed. I've noticed when I do this that all episodes of that show are removed from my playback history and favorited episodes. One thing I love about Podcast Addict is it's organization and the ability to serve as a record of what I listened to, so I feel this would only enhance that. I'd love for this to be resolved in a future update. Additionally, if there was the option to see in playback history when I listened to an episode (vs when that episode was originally released), that'd be awesome. Thanks!

The latest version has an option to keep all the podcast data when unsubscribing. Only the subscription status will be changed which means that the podcast will stop receiving new episodes. The podcast will still be visible on the app main screen
That might not be exactly what you were asking but this means that the episodes will remain in the playback history
Please provide some feedback if this is not what you were asking for
Thanks

The keep podcast data works great, but is there any way to delete the unplayed episodes in the list? I just want the played episodes to show up. Sometimes there are tons of episodes that are unplayed and it makes the podcast still show up in my podcasts list. Essentially, it would be great if I could Unsubscribe, keep the data on played episodes, and have it hidden from my currently active podcast list. Thanks!

Definitely looking for this also. I'm cleaning up podcasts from my main podcast window and deleting them also deletes the history of which ones I've listened. There are many podcasts I listen to only an episode if I like the guest star. But I still want to know which I've listened to in case I go searching for episodes featuring that celebrity again.

Any solutions to this? I lost a podcast I had listened to a few episodes of and it is driving me crazy that I cannot find it.

Yes! When I'm testing out new podcasts I'll add episodes to my playlist without subscribing, and they disappear entirely from playback history and statistics if I finish the epsiode. Doubly worrying because then I'll have trouble remembering what podcasts I wanted to keep!
