MORE volume boost!
I work in a very noisy environment and have to always use volume boost with my bluetooth headset. I know it could be even louder because when an alarm goes off the podcast gets even louder until I snooze or dismiss it. I would love an adjustable volume booster up to maybe 200% instead of the 20-30% it boost now.
Thanks!
Keep up the great work!

I've got a podcast that is noticeably quieter (always) than my other podcasts. The current boost helps, but which I could boost more.
I'm aware of other requests to "normalize" volume, for podcasts with volume that jumps around a lot, like during ads (https://podcastaddict.uservoice.com/forums/211997-general/suggestions/4209961). My problem is a podcast that is always quieter, even after toggling the current switch.
Maybe instead of a single switch, a slider? Or a list of choices?

Volume boost please. PLEASE!

Having a dynamic volume boost would be great for if you want to have a second audio source playing on your phone as well. I've tried on several occasions to have Pandora running as well as listening to a podcast, but the current volume boost isn't enough to prevent Pandora from over powering.

I noticed if you change the playback speed, it seems to up the volume. I've made my default playback speed 1.1, which really isn't noticeable.

I think dynamic volume boost is what you and I need more in noisy environments:

This is a very unusual request. Maybe the podcasts you listen to don't have good audio quality and so their volumes are not optimized? I've had this problem with some specific podcasts and always tried to reach out to them, since it's a very easy problem to fix.
Otherwise, maybe you're not using the right headset for your environment? Boosting the volume even higher than your device's limit would undoubtedly damage your hearing. -

I can recommend this app:

That should solve your problems. -

I would love to see compression built into the volume boost. Boost it too much and you get some nasty clipping. Compression "loudens" the volume while keeping the peaks from clipping.
