Snip out sections of audio to share with friends and family.
I often here parts of a podcast that I'd like to share, is it possible to add start and end bars to snip out sections? Sure it must be a lot more complicated. I'd like the option to send those snips along with the episode notes via the usual conduits.

I´m giving 3 votes to this. I´ve recently started using Obsidian to file and organize my notes and since much of my recent insights have come from podcasts I´ve heard, it would be wonderful if I could clip parts of a podcast to embed in the respective note.

You can already do this. Open the player screen then select the Share menu and press on 'Position in episode'

Another, easier version of this to implement, maybe (though I would LOVE to have what Anonymous described!) - when I share an episode using the "episode URL (Twitter)" option, be able to also set the time point within that episode that playback begins at when someone opens it from my link. That way I can get them to the good part, even if I can't make playback stop at a specific point. Thanks!
