Let Podcast Addict find wireless speakers and sound systems (Sonos ect)
Dear podcast addict. As my preferred podcast app, I'm extremely satisfied with the ease of use of the app, except for one thing, it's just too damn hard to connect to Sonos (yes, I know I can make a subfolder, but the layout in the Sonos app when I'm doing this is really crappy compared to your app. Spotify have the last couple of days released support for Sonos (and other wireless devices) that works pretty smooth. As the wireless marked is expanding, is this something you plan to do as well. Now that Sonos finally is opening up, so we can use their very good devices, without their crappy app, this is an opportunity I think you should jump on! Would be pretty nice to listen on podcast from your app on the way from work, when I get home, my phone automatically connects to my wifi, then it sees that my Sonos speakers are on the same network, and I can choose to continue the listening there.
Thanks for your help!

I am currently using Airaudio to stream to my Sonos.
This is the only reason I have to root my phone.
It would be so much easier to be able to stream to Sonos directly from Podcast Addict.

+1 to the previous comment. Play-Fi SDK is a growing ecosystem with plenty of speakers.

Use the Play-Fi SDK to integrate the many other Wireless Speakers.
From their website: "Play-Fi is premium whole-home wireless audio, now available from the largest ecosystem of brands in the world. Stream your favorite content with astounding audio quality, from every device that you've got.
All Play-Fi products are seamlessly interoperable, so you can find the perfect speaker for every room, and know that they will all make beautiful music together."
It'd be good to integrate PodCast Addict to this ecosystem! Many of speakers available and growing!

Thanks Jarrod, however AirAudio requires rooting the Android device.

There's an app called AirAudio that makes it easy to connect anything playing on your phone from any app to Sonos. Just get that app. No change needed in podcast addict.

Unfortunately, it looks like in order to be able to connect and stream to a Sonos device, the content would need to be hosted on Podcast Addict Servers. Because of this restriction, this feature won't be available in Podcast Addict...

The app doesn't handle the BT connection. Once you set the connection in your device settings, then the app will play podcasts using whatever BT receiver is connected. For Sonos, this is different, because they don't use any open standard. They require the use of their own SDK which is only available to their partner for now.
So for now only 'big companies' have access to it...
