Skip to timestamp through episode description text
Hi,
Quite a few podcasts do not have chapter marks :( but instead put timestamps (hh:mm - topic) into the episode description (the text that shows when tapping the episode cover in the player).
Would it be possible to make these timestamps clickable to skip to the corresponding section of the podcast, possibly taking playback speed into account?
This would be wonderful.
Afaik AntennaPod already does this, maybe worth a look.
Thank you.

I implemented this feature.
Please send me an email so I can provide an APK with this feature.
That way you’ll be able to test it and let me know if it works fine for you.
Thanks

@Xavier Guillemane
From what I found, Pocket Casts does this if the description timestamp says e.g. 01:45, but not 1:45, so leading zeroes are required, no idea about other clients. Timestamps over 10 minutes should work there.. Cannot test it myself though, don't have the app.Only heard that someone mentioned AntennaPod as an example for this, but they may have mixed up things.
Anyway, thank you for your time :)

@Matt
Thanks
However I tried a couple of podcast apps, including Antennapod and none of them had any interaction with the episode description screen -

Hi, thank you for the fast reply.
Examples are:
Rumble Pack - http://rumblepack.de/feed/
Hooked FM - https://www.hookedmagazin.de/feed/hookedfm/
Just scroll down a bit and the properly formatted description text shows, where you can immediately see the time stamps ("Ab xx:yy: sometopic" and "xx:yy - sometopic").Regards,
Matt
