Add option to sort playlist by podcast specific sort options
My apologies if this is something that can already be done in the app, but if that is the case I can't for the life of me figure it out.
I have some podcasts that I want to listen to newest to oldest, and some that I would like to listen to oldest to newest. I know that I can enable custom sorting on the podcast page, but this sorting option doesn't seem to tie back to the playlist page in any way.
Currently I am sorting by podcast priority, then by episode rating, then by date (newest to oldest). I would love the ability to replace the last item with something like "by podcast setting", so I can have a way for some podcasts to auto add their episodes the the playlist in one order while having other podcasts add in a different order.
Unless there is already a way to automatically do this that I am missing

Great idea! Other option could be sort order by category (playlist). Today if you change there order, it will affect all the catteries/playlist.

Some podcasts drop all their episodes on the same day, but starting with the last episode. It's really annoying to try an manage them in and out of the playlist in order to listen in the proper order.
Having a playlist date reverse for certain podcasts would be so helpful

I came to this forum specifically to suggest this, I'm glad I just need to update instead of writing it up!

Hi,
Firstly – I LOVE the App, so thank you 😊This option would be very useful. I’m happy with default sort order of New --> Old pub date for most podcasts, but it would be very convenient to be able to override this at individual podcast level and change it to Old --> New pub date to display newly discovered long running podcasts such as History of Rome and History of the World in 100 objects.
Thank you!

I had the same confusion and only learned thru asking support directly if this was possible. Answer was no, but suggest it as a feature. Thank you for starting this. I'll also try your method to see how well it works.

Even though I will probably never use this feature myself, this is a great idea and you get my two last votes. Your words in Xavier's ears! (Is that an English or a French saying?)
