NewPipe
Youtube's ToS do not allow to download their content directly under the threat of a ban. However there could be a workaround. There's an excellent app out there called the NewPipe. It allows to download the YT videos (and even the extracted audio) through the "Share" button on YT itself. My request is to integrate the option to "Share" the YT videos in RSS subscriptions of PA to NewPipe if such app is present on one's device.

I think YT is working to protect the content not for themselves, but for the creators, however ineffective their efforts are. Rather than spending time developing and using hacks that effectively prevent content creators from getting paid via the system they are using to provide the content, it might be more effective to joint the conversation. YT is just one of the platforms at that table. PA is also considering this global conversation, and though this request is a necessary one, complicity may have its edge of rogue, Robin Hood heroism, there are some truly amazing efforts to make content accessible to those who generally lack the currency. (Currency, as in current, like, in the loop, the loop captitalism purports the desire to grow, a.k.a. be more inclusive... by providing knowledge/content and the platforms for them).
So, PA, please proceed with self-awareness, and a documented keen eye toward the technical (and social) debt accrual.
