Cross device synchronization
Would be great to be able to synchronize subscriptions, playlist, read status, ... between devices

Just a heads up regarding the latest version of the app. It doesn’t provide cross device syncing yet, but it allows you to sign in to your Google Drive account and have all your data automatically backed up to make sure they are safe at all time. It also makes restoring the data on a new device really easy.
You can go into Settings/Backup to enable this and sign-in
Thanks

Hey, is this happening? I love this app but am looking to change just for the feature alone

How's this coming along, Xavier, 3 years after it was started? I'm assuming there would have to be a paid subscription for this, but I for one would be happy to pay it.

Aaaand another one repeating the same words.
What the hell? It is the most wanted feature for the best podcasting app available.
It shouldn't be a problem to sync via file on dropbox/google/nextcloud/iCloud or anything similar?! I mean simple games are doing this. There are shopping list apps that do this stuff...
Don't loose any more users and implement this. Please.

Quel dommage... Impossible de synchroniser ma tablette et mon nouveau smartphone malgré vos conseils et plusieurs tentatives : fichier partagé par mail.. Puis par cloud... Rien nothing!.. What else?

Pleaaaaaaaase. I'm trying Podcast Republic because it has this feature, but besides this it's such a pain in the ass. Having cross devices sync would be SO GREAT. If there is a cost, maybe give it only for the paid users? I've already paid, but I know I would have been glad to continue to use PA with sync rather than another software.

Is it possible to make an account that you can sign in to different phones and get all subscriptions, playlist, and more?
That's the only thing I miss with this app. -

I keep hearing the only apps that offer cross device synchronization are Stitcher and Pocket Casts, and the user experience is better with PocketCasts. Making the switch!

I moved from PA to PocketCasts because of the lack oft cross device synchronisation. I'd come back immediately, as soon as there was this option.
Podcast addict is just the most powerful Podcast app out there! -

Lack of cross device sync is the one big flaw with this otherwise great app. I were hoping that this function should have been added by now.
Very annoying! An update from developer would be much appreciated. -

Is there an update on this?

I would like to sync my phone and tablet. I donated through my phone (not that it matters). Thanks!

Agree with previous comment. Even just SFTP/WebDav would be cool. Or any cloud service like Dropbox/Google Drive/Yandex.Disk, it should be not hard to implement and costs you literally nothing.
This is really a must-have feature. -

I'm even happier with a self-hosted solution. (Sftp/webdav/ssh-rsync/etc)

I'm here to say what the rest have said, i enjoy this app the most but without cross sync for my android devices it becomes a deal breaker.
I shouldn't have to start all my podcasts on my phone when i might be using my tablet later for work while i listen, let us sync please. I know features take time but this is 5 years now.

Just bought Pocket Casts for the sole sync option. Sad for you as PA would have been my go to app.

4+ years and still no sync! I have switched to Podcast Republic, which has syncing and seems to have most of the features of PA. Its really a shame nothing had been done about syncing. This could have been a great app. Gh good luck!

I finally made the leap to Pocket Casts after 6 years with PA. I'll miss a lot features of PA, but device sync was starting to outweigh all of those benefits.

I will probably move on if this doesn't get resolved soon. Too bad since pa is awesome but no sync is just a deal breaker in this day and age.

"This feature will be added in 2014. But it requires a lot of work server side and also to find a solution that won't cost to much... So it will take a few month to implement it"

Why not sync the data to Google Drive on Android, and whatever cloud service is naturally available in iOS? This should have zero cost to you, since it uses bandwidth and space from the user.
