Auto start playback when connecting headphones
It would be great if there was an option to start playback automatically when connecting headphones/headset. The idea is that I unplug them upon arriving at work and it stops, and about 8 hours later I plug them in and continue where I left off - awesomeness. It's also a good way to pause playback without handling your phone if you don't have headset buttons.

You can already do this by enabling the following:
Settings/Player/Headset/Keep listening to controls
Settings/Player /Headset/Resume on connection
That way the app will be able to start playback when plugging the headset even if the player isn’t started.
But be carreful, because Podcast Addict will then react to every controls even if another app is opened

note: requires that the app be in pause mode, won't start it up on it's own, it works for me usually pretty well -

I use the app "llama" which is free to do this (and loads of other stuff). Works like a charm

I don't think I will do that because it requires to ask new permissions when installing the app and most users won't be pleased by it. You can achieve this by using a 3rd party app like tasker or automateit. Those apps can send intents to Podcast Addict to command it.
