Don't delete all my subscriptions without warning
To be fair, I've been using PodcastAddict for a long time. In the past I've managed to get past any problems that came up without reading the manual. Today was the exception ... I inadvertently deleted all my subscriptions ... and I don't know why it happened.
I was trying to add a new subscription, which is very difficult when you have to type the RSS URL into that tiny box. I made a typo and could find no way to edit it once it was submitted. So I thought I would just delete it, but it did not show up on the main list of subscriptions, I guess because it didn't point to anything.
So I went back to the Add-Subscription (+) page and selected the My-Subscriptions page. I have only used this feature once or twice in the past. it lists all my subscriptions with a check box next to each one, checked by default. I unchecked all the subscriptions I wanted to save, leaving only the one with a typo check. Then I touched the X button, thinking that would delete the one with the checked box. But when the dialog asked if I wanted to reset ever podcast, not just the one with the checkbox, I touched the NO button.
After that all my podcast subscriptions where gone except the one with the typo. I looked for an undo but found none.
I'm sure this was not intended by the designers and maybe I did something wrong. At this point this seems like a chance to try a different app.
Peace,

The only way to remove subscriptions is to unsubscribe from the podcasts one by one or to uninstall the app or to clear the app data from the android settings menu.
When you add a RSS feed no matter if the url is invalid it always shows up in the app main screen. Just make sure you’re not hiding empty podcasts. If so just press the eye icon to display every podcasts including the one without any unread episodes.
If you go into the ‘my subscriptions’ screen and unselect the podcasts you did subscribe to, then it will unsubscribe from them.
