    In case you want to report an issue with the app please use the Contact support button.

    This message tells that the feed has not yet been refreshed. Just press the update button on this feed. It will then display the feed episodes. If the feed isn’t valid or if the podcast server is down, you will have an error message and this message will still be displayed. which feed is it ?

  2. Please fix podcast start up problem

    Everytime I go start up the podcast that I was previously listening to, it jumps backs about a minute. If I pause while listening to the podcast and resume it also does the same thing. When I scroll to find a specific spot, sometimes it starts up 20mins back from where I want it to start. I'm not sure if this is an easy fix but I can't figure out the problem.

    I love this app but this had been bugging me a lot recently.

    In case of a bug, please open a ticket using the Contact Support button .

    Looks like you are using a device with a MK65xx CPU.
    Those devices have a bug that make it impossible to resume playing using default Android APIs. Unless a specific workaround is developed for this CPU every existing app will have this bug.

  3. Variable speed playback broken with some podcasts

    A recent update broke variable speed playback on a few of my podcasts (cheapass gamer's cagcast being one). If I change the playback speed at all, even 1.1x, it sounds like they are talking in slow motion. Not all my podcasts have this issue, and the ones that are broken had worked fine before that update.

    Please open a Ticket using the ‘Contact Support’ button in case of a Bug.
    Nothing was broke on variable playback speed. It just doesn’t support M4A files very well and because of some hardware/drivers bugs, some devices aren’t compatible (Samsung S4 for exemple).
    Did you install the app on a different device or update you Android/Rom version ?

  4. Fix automatic refresh

    I have my setting for every 12 hours, and when I open the app, but it seems like my phone is always refreshing my subscriptions

    Please tell me if you have enter a specific time for the feeds update.
    Do you have some podcast showing a small warning sign on the main screen ?
    Did you enable Settings/Data Usage/ Update podcasts over Wifi only ?
    Did you enable the Settings/Automatic Cleanup/Trash ?

  5. bluetooth

    Just received an update and unable to play through car via bluetooth whilst also running the navigation app M8. It used to but now it defaults to M8 via car speaker and podcast addict via phone speaker regardless of which one I start first. Has anyone else experienced this? And how was it resolved. Thanks

    Please open a ticket using the Contact Support button in case of a bug.

    The app just play/pause some content and that’s it. If the device is connected to a BT device or a standard headset, then the sound will go through the connected device, but that’s it. The app doesn’t handle anything related to BT, so there’s no regression possible ;)

  6. Menu item to download unread for all subscriptions

    I would like to have a menu item to download all unread podcasts for all podcast subscriptions.

    There is an menu setting to do this but only on a per podcast basis. It would be nice to have a top-level menu item that applies the download to all subscriptions.

  7. old podcast not deleted

    The automatic deletion of old podcasts is not working. My podcast folder is full of old files. I just tested by downloading a new podcast just today and listening to it. After listening to it the app says it has been marked as deleted but the file is soil there.

    In case of a bug please open a ticket using the contact support button.

    It looks like you didn’t enabled the automatic deletion of read episodes.You can do it in Settings/Automatic cleanup. You can also override this feature for each podcast : long press on a podcast => custom settings

  8. Lock screen controls not working on Galaxy S4.

    The controls don't show up in the lock screen anymore.

    Are you talking about the playlist reordering?
    If so please try to clear it and then add again your episodes using the ‘enqueue downloaded episodes’ menu. Does it fix the issue?

  11. BUG : when making a research (for new podcast)

    when making a research (for new podcast) it shows me a Toast "1 résultat", but nothing is shown in the list (example with : "tales of the world")

  12. bug: prematurely ending downloaded track

    Some of the podcasts I downloaded weren't able to play through until the end.
    The status was downloaded, but when I tried to skip to the last minutes, it wouldn't play.

  13. allocate fixed spaces for adverts rather than adjusting layout after the advert loads and is rendered which pushes things up the screen.

    As explained on the Play store, I’m using Google admob to display the ads. The ad banner only shows when there’s a network connection and after it retrieved an ad to display. I updated the player layout in the past releases to make the buttons bigger to avoid pressing on the ad banner by mistake. Please update if your’re not on 1.23.2

  15. you find the bug that is causing it to freeze at start up. The only way to get it to start is to shut the phone down off completely.

  20. A bug with episode thumbnails in list of episodes

    Looks like a bug with episode thumbnails in list of episodes: for downloaded and enqueued the thumbnail is replaced from episode-specific with the podcast-top-level-thumbnail making it difficult to distinguish episodes between each other. I can provide a screnshot.

    I’m not sure there’s a bug in what you describe. When there’re no thumbnail available for episodes, the podcast thumbnail is used. Also make sure you didn’t enable Settings/Data usage/Thumbnail download/Wifi only, otherwise the thumbnails will only download over wifi
