  1. Change network option to include manual download

    Today you can only set update and download to either Wi-Fi only or note. It would great if there was another checkbox that allowed you to manually choose to download podcasts if you choose. This is how DoubleTwist is setup and that's the No. 1 and maybe only feature I think is missing from Podcast Addict. If I'm not on Wi-Fi and want to download a podcast I have to go into settings to uncheck Wi-Fi only, download it, then switch back. If I manuall request a download it should override the auto background settings.

  2. Add option in settings to stop playing after current episode ends

    Any chance you could add an option in settings to stop playing after current episode ends. Currently, I have to use the sleep timer every time I want to accomplish this. Thank you.

  3. I would like a possibility to sort the search results according to date of last episode, amount of episodes etc.

  5. option to hid the new option tile when listing podcast episodes

    v.3.0 added the option tile at the top when listing podcast episodes.
    It takes nearly half my screen, and is not helpful as there are other ways to access feed options. I would like to be able to hide/remove it, basically to restore the previous view

  6. make a widget to Refresh Podcasts

    A 1x1 widget that just manually refreshes podcasts would be great for those who don't want a whole player widget.

  7. New material design

    It would be good to give Podcast addict a fresh new design with google material design. This would probably also enhance customer experience and boost app downloads.

    I just started working on the v3.0

    This new version will have a lot of technical modifications to prepare future features of Podcast Addict (Android TV, Android Auto, Android wear, …)

    I won’t change the whole app design, but I will do some layout modifications to add a small ‘material design’ touch to the app.
    It will integrate better on device running Android 5.0

    Please join the beta program so you can test the new version and give me some feedback.

  9. Support the Atom standard (RFC 4287)

    Atom is the other popular feed format used for podcasts. Currently, PA only appears to support only RSS feeds.

  10. skip longpress deletion confirmation

    How about an option to skip the deletion confirmation after longpressing the next track button. I have NEVER used the No button. And it is distracting/dangerous when presented in the Car Layout since I must avert my eyes from the road to accurately hit the YES button.

  11. An option to use ethernet as opposed to having to switching to wifi when connected a Android stick/box with wired connections.

    Currently I use an Android device on my entertainment center. It is wired to my router. Podcast Addict only allows wifi connections so I have to turn on wifi when listening. Give uses to option to connect through a hardwire ethernet connection.

    Any time I start listening to a podcast, generate a tweet with the episode title and a link to the podcast.

  15. option to hide shuffle button on Player screens

    Since I never EVER want to shuffle-play my podcasts, but sometimes inadvertently hit the shuffle button (and don't realize it till much later), I'd like the option to hide those buttons on the Player screens.

  16. Download from multiple feeds at the same time.

    Was stuck downloading a 60 meg podcast at a very slow speed, while having about 5-6 other podcasts in the queue from other feeds, all about 3-5 megs that would come down in a couple of seconds.

    Edit: A beta with this feature will be available within the hour.

  18. Pouvoir lire un podcast entier hors playlist

    Ce serait bien de pouvoir lire tous les épisodes d'un podcast hors playlist (en lançant la lecture dans le podcast).
    Sachant que la fonction tri exite déjà maintenant dans l'affichage d'un poscast, il "suffirait" de faire en sorte qu'une lecture dans un podcast enchaine la lecture des autres épisodes du podcast dans l'ordre de tri sélectionné.
    Pour l'instant je contourne le problème en triant la playlist par nom de podcast, mais c'est du bricolage !

  19. Search should default to whatever settings the user used for the previous search

    Every time I search for podcasts it defaults to ALL. But I ALWAYS want audio and NEVER want video. How about defaulting to whatever the user used for the previous search?

  20. Add multiple selection on playlist

    today's playlist only allow individual config on one subscription, it's very inconvenient especially when shuffling the orders of podcasts manually....
    with multiple select, you can easily group a few casts and move them upwards ...or at least have a quick "move to the top" "move to the bottom" option in the config list for playlist.

    Edit: Delivered in v3.21

    Podcast Addict v3.21 will allow you to select multiple episodes in the playlist and to select one of the following action:
    – remove from playlist
    – delete
    – move to top
    – move to bottom
    – reset playback position

    A new beta including this feature will be published tomorrow.
