When paused and "play from top" is enabled, make the added episode the currently playing
I usually have several longer podcasts queued up.
When I leave for work or from work, I download the latest news podcast from the local radio station, put on my headphones and press play. But before that I need to tap on the first item in the playlist to switch the currently playing title.
What I suggest is: when a title is added to the top of the playlist, at least when paused, automatically make it the currently playeing title, so that when I press play/unpause, the most recently added one will start playing instead of continuing the one I…

Activate Plex Channel on your Roku device
There are a lot of entertaining programs to watch on your plex channel. For plex activation, you must have all the preliminary requisites. Create a plex account and get the plex channel subscription downloading the plex server. As soon as you get the server, go to the page plex.tv/link . Separate "resume on connection": one for Bluetooth and the other for Wired devices
I'd like 2 separate options for "resume on connection". One for Wired and the other for Bluetooth devices. I exclusively listen to podcasts from a Bluetooth speaker and music with a wired headphones. So I don't want Addict to start playing when I plug in my wired headphones

Live statistics
Currently statistics are calculated when a podcast ends. This works fine for a rough estimate of stats but it's not super accurate when listening to a long podcast over multiple days.
For example. If I'm listening to a two hour podcast that I listen to 90% of it, then pause and finish it first thing the next morning, the statistics section shows that I listened to nothing yesterday and two hours today.
Not a huge deal but it'd be cool if the statistics were more accurate.

Sort podcasts by memory density (Mb/min)
At times I fill up the storage available in my device. At the moment I go to Downloaded Episodes and sort by file size.
I would like to maximise the amount of space I clear up in the minimum amount of time.
As a general rule longer episodes lead to larger file sizes, so a simple file-size sort doesn't necessarily identify the memory hogs.
I'd like to be able to sort by memory density (i.e. Mb/min), which would allow me to efficiently listen to my podcasts to make space on my device.1 vote -
A combined normal and archive listening downloading scheme
Some of the podcasts I listen to have hundreds of episodes. I would like to listen to all the old ones, but I would also like to listen to the new ones as they come out. As I see it, I can currently ( Sept 2018) choose one of those but not both. I would like to have a mode that works like archive normally, but whenever it goes to download a new archive episode, it checks if the most recent episode is listened to and if not, downloads that one instead of the archive episode. In a list of 300 episodes in can be hard to find where I am at, and I think I need to be in the list view to add to playlist.

A way to block certain words from appearing in your search results (under episodes)
Usually we're able to do that online by simple adding a ''-'' before the word we don't want to see but on PA this doesn't work. I get so many search results on the episodes section of search from podcasts I do not care about and because I can't block the podcast, my search results are not that good.

Replay / CatchUp Feature
The idea is to get to download an episode of a feed, starting from the oldest entry, every day (or week, what, choose your period). This is for listinening to a finished/concluded series (like 50 Things That Made The Modern Economy or The Butterfly Effect) or catching up to a newly discovered podcast within a set period without having to download every episode.
So basically just a "Download n entries from feed x every m interval starting from the first (or y-th entry)" function.

Automatically delete episodes after set period of time, for already played episodes specifically
In "Automatic Cleanup > Limit number of downloaded files > Delete older episodes", have an option to delete only episodes marked played.

Alternate podcasts considering channel queue lengths
I often use Alternate podcasts option with sorting by decreasing priority and increasing release date.
It works well with channels with similar length of their queued episodes. But with big difference of lengths, it has a side effect of prioritizing the short queues. Much newer episodes from shirt queues are played before older ones from longer queues. By other words, shorter the channel queue is, higher us the average item position in the playlist.
As a work around, I periodically "reshake" the playlist by turning "Alternate podcasts" OFF/ON and moving current episode to the top again.

Downloaded episodes tab - setting: display all episodes except
I use podcast addict to manage podcasts of my personal interest, but also for podcasts to listen to with my kids.
It would be helpful if it was possible do deselect only certain podcasts in the "downloaded episodes" tab in addition to the available option of only one podcast to be listed. That way it became possible to more effectively declutter the the downloaded lists, depending on the Situation.3 votes -
Add option to continuously play next episode, or not, for each podcast.
Right now, you can continuously play episodes or not. Change this setting from being app-wide to individual podcasts so that the 1 1/2 minute-long podcast I listen to can play from episode to episode for a long period of time without me messing with it, but a longer podcast will only play the current episode and then stop until I press the play button for the next one.
