1. Change abbreviation 1m to 1 month (since this looks like 1 minute)

   I was confused by 1m because I thought it meant 1 minute. I think it would be better to clarify 1h 1d 1m with 1 hour 1 day 1 month or 1 hr 1 day 1 mon.
   
   I LOVE PODCAST ADDICT. Some people I think just get an iPhone for Podcasts / iTunes, not knowing they can get as good or better podcast player with Podcast Addict.

2. Clean up the UI.

   I love your app, but it does need a bit of a UI overhaul.

   • 1 Remove unessicary clutter and put more relevant info in the front. Put the catigories selector into the side bar. The "hide read podcast" button probably won't be used very often to justify putting it were it is and cluttering the display. The refresh button is redundant because you already can swipe down to refresh, which is more intuitive. Put a search button into the top bar. A back button to go to the main page from individual podcast pages would be nice though. I saw sub menus that were either mini versions of the main menus, or popups. Change all the sub menus to popups. Move "icons help" into help.

   • 2 Clean up the player. First, make it so that you can swipe down to collapse the player (like the google play music app) or replace the side menu tab with a close button. Maybe make the album art and player controls a bit smaller so you can move the favorite and sleep timer buttons down. A podcast description button might want to be put down there as well, because I would prefer that to tapping on the artwork (less chance of accidentally hitting it ) instead, make tapping the artwork show the queue. The speed ajustment should be put into the menu. Maybe share rate and "www" (that NEEDS to be more descriptive) could be combined into one sub menu. Remember to remvove redundant options.

   • 3 clean up the side tray and its options. Remove search, player, and playlist (queue) buttons (because you implemented better ways of doing that before) Also remove the bottom refresh, settings, and add buttons, and replace it with one big settings button. Take out all solid color from the side tray. Combine "all" and "7 day" into a feed which has seperators for each day/week.

   • 4 make the app more visually appealing. Make a white version, so people better notice the material design. (Most material design apps are white by default, but have a dark mode option). Get rid of the shadow on the podcast artwork. Make the top of the podcast's individual page a giant picture of the artwork instead of the translucent stuff. Clean up the fonts, especially in the sub menus. Make the blue accents a shade of blue or another color that is brighter.

   I know that was long, but I really am happy that I have so much to critique. It isn't at all bad that the app is overflowing with features. Something like pocketcasts (I think that's what it is called) might have pretty design, but functionality should come first. Thank you so much for making a great app! It was 100% worth my money. I hope this feedback helps and I am totally willing to bug test in any way.

3. show actual amount of unread podcasts instead of a "+" symbol for 100+. I hate not being able to see how many unread podcast episodes

   If you have 99 episodes of comedy bang bang unread for example, you can tell its 99. If you have 100 or 101 unread, you can't tell without counting manually how many unread casts for comedy bang bang there are because everything over 99 is replaced with a + symbol. It's stupid and every other podcast application gets it right. If there are 1123 unread podcasts Under comedy bang bang, i want it to say "1123", not "+". Its so simple. Im actually confused why when designing this app, you went out of your way to make it more complicated for no reason. It's actually worse than that, because its just common sense to me.

4. Add Swipe Right and Swipe Left on playlist screen.

   If I swipe right on an episode on the playlist screen it should move to next played episodes, swipe left should move the episode to the bottom of the playlist.

5. When an episode is deleted from your storage, do not remove it from your playlist as well

   In the "playlist" tab, it is only possible to "remove from playlist" or "delete and remove from playlist". It would be nice to delete episodes from storage, while it still stays on your playlist (e.g. for streaming on WiFi only).

   But maybe I missed out something in the settings and this idea is already possible.

6. Record radio stream

   You can listen live steam but no option to record it or play it with delay. Otherwise a very good app go on p a team

7. Make unread episodes flag three digits

   The orange flag that displays the number of unread episodes currently shows "+" if more than a certain number of episodes remain unread (guessing the max is probably 99). It would be great if this flag supported three-digit numbers because I've got a few long-running podcasts I follow that have more than 100 episodes I haven't yet download and having numeric feedback on how many episodes remain helps a lot when doing binge listening.

9. Share your Podcasts

   I love the app, I really cannot fault it so this is more of a suggestion and don't know if it's possible.
   Is there a way you could incorporate users opml files. A sort of "this is what I'm listening to" feed. My thought process is sharing podcasts and play lists so others may find podcasts they don't know about.

10. Snippets of shows (like audable)

    Hi. 
    I notice audible have a new feature which I have wanted in a podcast app for ages.

    Snippets. Sometimes I speak to my mates about things and I hear the answer to thier questions on my podcasts that I listen too on podcast addict.

    It would be good of podcast addict had a snippet button which records for the duration of the bit you wish to send to someone else. Long press from start to finish after longpress ask to save audio clip so you can send it to my mates. (max 60 seconds). Maybe send via whatsapp, Facebook messenger or as an attachment in an email or something.

    If you could have this only to people like me who have the donate version of podcast addict.

11. Scrollbar on the right instead of the left.

    Change so the bar to scroll up and down the episodes list is on the left instead of the right. I typically use my left hand to scroll and select/play the episode I want with my right. I constantly find myself accidentally going back a couple of episodes whenever I want to add to playlist or download an episode. Or maybe make the button larger to avoid accidental scrolling.

12. Add a new Manual Sort option, separate from Priority Sort

    Allow the user to select a sorting option that gives them the option to rearrange the podcasts on the main screen of the app via Drag and Drop, activated by a longpress. This sorting option should be separated from the assignment of priority.

13. Priority specific custom settings

    All my top priority podcasts I have custom settings. It would be nice to have these set to the priority rather than each episode. Just so when new podcasts get added to that, they to will also gain those custom settings

    It would be great to be able to start the control interface and resume the last pod cast directly from the watch without first starting the pod-cast on the phone.

15. Add scan option for old download directory

    It would be nice to add the option to scan for already dowloaded episodes stored, e.g., on an sdcard.
    I used to download episodes on the sdcard in a custom directory. I had to factory reset my phone and after reinstalling the podcast addict I would like to match the already downloaded episodes on the sdcard with RSS feeds.
    I re-subscribed to the podcast feed and set the download directory to my old one on sdcard, but podcast addict still shows episodes as to be downloaded.

    Not sure this is already possible in some way; I couldn't find this in already posted ideas.

17. add an option for maximum start volume

    I love your podcast app, but one thing I would love to see is a setting for a "max start volume" or similar. Kind of like some cars will limit the volume of the radio when you turn it on, so if it was blasting at the time you turned it off and you forgot, it would come on at some pre-determined maximum level.

    My use case is simple. I frequently plug my phone into speakers for listening to music like spotify, and I turn my phone volume up to 100% so I can modulate the volume via the speakers. The problem is that when I plug my headphones in at a later time for a podcast, I blast my eardrums. The maximum start volume should be like 10% for me, for example.

    On the default player layout you can swipe right to see the playlist. I'd like the same ability on the car layout.

20. Add profiles

    I'd love the ability to have different profiles for settings. For example when listening in the car vs at work vs running, etc. I use the playback speed settings extensively and when listening at work I like the speed higher than when I'm listening in the car or running. Thanks for making a great app!
