Favorite episode download
I made a setting set up such that I'd always have the last 3 most recent episodes of all podcast I'm subbed to (currently 3, I'm very picky!) And would delete older ones automatically. However, I'd like to to "break" that set up for 1 or 2 older exceptional episodes (they're marked/starred) and I download them... but once the podcast episode is over, it gets erased off the active playlist I'm using (my main interaction area with the app) or due to my set up I mentioned, a new episode comes out and it purges out those exceptional episodes.

Sanity-check dates
If a publication date is in the future, use the date the episode details were retrieved instead.
From time to time, I get a podcast which sits for days or weeks at the top of the chronological listing because it claims to have been published in the future.

When updating podcasts, update in priority order.
The update button checks the RSS feeds in alphabetical order, but it would be better if it did it in priority order. This can be a big difference in when you can get episodes when you have a lot of feeds and are on a slow connection.

Add a lockscreen button that ends current track and goes to the next
I want a lockscreen button I can push to skip to the next track, where it deletes the old track and removes it from the playlist. To do this in the app, I long press the next track button, but on the lock screen, long pressing doesn't work. So could there be another button, or could there be an option to change what the next track button does? I use a playlist with priority sorting, and I have the option set so it plays at the top of the list each time. The lockscreen next track button ignores this as…

allow repeating fragment between two bookmarks
I follow podcasts in languages I'm learning and really enjoy the repeat mode. But some episodes are two long, or contain only a little bit I'm interested in listening to repeatedly, so I add bookmarks and keep returning to them. It would be nice if there was a preference that would make the "repeat 1" mode repeat not the whole episode, but just a fragment between two bookmarks (or episode start and the first bookmark or the last bookmark and the episode end). It doesn't need to be a new repeat mode, just a setting that we could enable globally…

Remap the physical buttons on the side of device when the screen is off.
When driving, I would like to skip commercials, or rewind to hear something I missed. I would be great if the physical volume buttons could be remapped to another function when the screen is off, so I can keep my eyes on the road. Also useful when player is in my pocket.

make it easy to throw money at you.
In order to give you money it looks like I would need to signup at Patreon or GooglePlay. I don't understand why a developer would choose to involve a third party when it is unnecessary. No doubt, the third party benefits by adding to their data list and they assist the developer, but some of us are not interested in supporting Google etc.

Show total memory usage
The OS says the app is using 11gb, but the sum of all the 55 podcasts I have is barely 1gb. It would be nice to know where that memory is being consumed.

Make is easier to move episodes to any position in a Custom Playlist
I have some Custom Playlists, created by including the required Categories and sorting by Priority and Date.
However, sometimes I'll want to move a particular episode to, say, fourth in the playlist.
At the moment, I can long press on an episode and choose Move to Top, Move to Bottom or Move to play next. However, it would be great to temporarily enable to the drag handles that are available in manually sorted lists so that I can drag an episode to any arbitrary position in the playlist.

When the download playlist ends it loops
Let's say I have a episode called "a" I download the episode and it's in The downloaded playlist. Now the app auto downloads (I have that feature on) a new episode called "b" while I'm listening to "a" so the app adds "b" to the top of the playlist I finish "a" and it stops. That's what happens right now I want it so that after it finish the playlist loops and goes to the new one. So the solution is have playlist loop or add new episodes to the bottom of the playlist

Easier way to play podcast from where you left off
I'm imagining something like in Netflix where I can just hit play on a series to resume from where you left off.
Right now what I do is just scroll through the sometimes hundreds of episodes in a podcast to find the last one I was playing which is pretty tedious.4 votes -
Ability to Remove Podcasts and Settings
Being hard of hearing I wish that you could turn on the volume booster and silence skipper in the general setting. Another option that would be nice would be to be able to remove podcasts from the recommendations. My number one recommendation is a podcast I would never listen to.

Show the progress (percentage) for every episode. For example, if I have listened to 4 minutes out of 10, I want to see "Played: 40%"
I think it would be cool to be able to see your progress for each episode like CastBox implements it.
