Changing settings when subscribing to a new podcast
I often want to listen to a specific episode of a podcast (from newsletters) without actually subscribing to the whole podcast.
I'd like to be able to uncheck the automatic update option when clicking an RSS link or when browsing the available podcasts listings.1 vote -
Gamify podcast addict
This is not a grand feature request, more like a fun addition to make listening to podcasts more game-like. For example: using playback statistics to earn 'badges' or 'medals' of a sort. Similar to the new badge feature in the audible app. Frankly, a feature like that does not change the way I use the app much (i listen for about 15 hours a week) but it may encourage new users to use the app more.

A chrome extension that allows quick 'listen later'.
Much like the Pocket app does for news articles.

Download smallest podcasts first
Add a setting to have smaller size files automatically download first.
Or if you don't know the file sizes ahead of time, maybe have the podcasts download in order of podcast priority.

It would be nice to see how much time was skipped (or rewinded) using the playback buttons.

exclude podcasts from flattr
I love the idea of flattr, but I'd rather like to directly donate to those podcasts I listen the most (and to Xavier :-)), simply to save transaction fees.
But I still want to keep flattr for various other podcasts.
Hence I'd like to exclude those I directly donate from flattr.This is for two reasons:
1) not to pay them twice
2) not to minimize the flattr-share for the other creatorsI think the right place to make this setting is in the feed settings of the respective podcast.

Is it possible to bring podcasts and livesteams in a user defined oder?
For example by giving them a number or just drag and drop...

Allow List of D/L Episodes on the Main Screen
The main screen has a lot of unused space.
I suggest allow creating Lists (For example all D/L episodes) and place it on the main screen for easy and fast access.1 vote -
Recycle Bin: reverse order and more space between restore and delete button
It would help a lot if you would reverse the Recycle Bin, so that the last deleted is on TOP. And, the delete forever button is too close to the restore button.

I suggest that you add an option beneath "Add unplayed episodes to playlist" that is "Replace playlist with unplayed episodes"
The option would completely clear the current playlist, then add the podcast episodes that had not been played yet. That would cut out a LOT of steps for how I regularly use the software.

I would like to click on the feed / link already linked to youtube, when calling the youtube app and / or internal player, the same does not open in landscape mode, but in portrait mode, currently it ALWAYS opens in landscape, In a picture, and only after it opens when you click on the youtube icon, it calls the youtube application on the mobile phone and opens it in a portrait mode, it would be possible to set the portrait mode as the default for me to watch youtube videos in the app

Keep only most recently published versions of a podcast
I listen to some tech podcasts and often the information on older episodes is outdated. I'd like to keep certain episodes only if they were published within the last X months, for example.

Announce the name of the episode
I would like to have a voice that announce the next episode, with the name and maybe the name of the podcast
It may comes in handy also to have the chance to set a sound between episodes, since one finishes and then a new one starts over, for some podcast it is not so easy to understand the change of episode

Show at-a-glance download progress using status bar indicators
Currently (v3.25.2), when downloading an episode, only the Android download indicator (downward moving arrow) is shown in the status bar. This indicates that a download is in progress or waiting for an appropriate connection but gives no indication of download progress, if any.
Those of us on slow connections and/or downloading large episodes need to pull down the notification shade multiple times over the course of a download to check the progress, which is more inconvenient with large phones. For some podcasts, an episode can take half an hour or more to download over a slow connection. This adds to…

Playlist end completion notification
It seems to be useful to optionally raise a notification on playlist completion when there's nothing more to play. Automation software such as Tasker could catch it and start playing something else - Play Music, Apple music etc.
